this bank is horrible, slow, computer illiterate and some of the reveiws your reading are posted from there staff save yourself the pain don't deal with a business like this . hopefully they are the first bank to shut down do to the pandemic

Alott of wait always even there is 3 people on till 2 of them were on phone cl with customer care I wait for almost 1 hour for my turn when I go there then they said they are out of cash u think what u feel on that time ..manager needs to be prepared his job to gave good customer service ??‍♂️

OMG a nightmare company to deal with they can not even help you over phone for the simple things like redirecting your insurance payments to another account. No only if you get all this paperwork harangue they can do it. Meanwhile they have hidden fees to get you in over account fees, you have to pay before anything is done too and this over account fees are because of there old school ways. I hate coast capital for this old school ways to NOT HELP CUSTOMERS. They need to fix this problem so you call into fix their error in he first place. Thank goodness I moved my mortgage without a problem yet insurance is a bear to move at all. No pun intended. COAST CAPITAL your policies need to come into today’s banking standards. Many never go into a bank at all only do banking online and on phone even phone is old school. But they ask you to go in to the branch on everything. Time to get into today’s banking methods. Sheesh ? so ridiculous this company is.

The wait to see a teller is extreme. It seems like a self-perpetuating problem because members know this and only come in for complex things so each transaction is time consuming. The systems are also old. I show my card and they type the number in manually. If I need to withdraw funds they check my id. I got a cashier's cheque hand-written on carbon paper. On a positive note, the employees are proactive and genuine in my experience. The branch seems clean and safe. If the line is long and employees in the cubicles are available they'll do teller services at their desks. If you can avoid coming in, avoid it. If you do come in, prepare to stand in line for a long time. Once you get to an employee you'll be satisfied and get everything you need.

Do not open a business account with Coast. The will not go the extra to help you. Staff are robots and just follow procedure. I made a mistake opening my acct with Coast. Should have stayed with Vancity or one of the bigger banks that will want to do business and help you. Tried to get a cheque cleared but they stuck with their 5 day clearing policy. I know from other banks, if you can prove well the funds are legit, they will clear it. Just takes a little work but can be done by other banks. Coast won't even bother.

They send all their incompetent employees and leave them at the same place because it takes each and every one of them forever to do a simple transaction. Is this a training and learning centre? Please change your sign to say it so we can avoid.

Beyond useless customer service with consistently long wait times. I had 2 goals. 1. To ask about the current $300 promo 2. Finish setting up an account by completing a deposit which I wasn't able to do online. 1. When asking about some information on one of their current $300 new account promotions the response was "you have $300 in account?" So I gave up trying to even ask about that after obvious energy of zero interest in helping me with that. 2. Moving on to trying to complete a simple deposit to finish setting up a new account that was approved on August 20th I show the representative the emails of approval and literally the only thing she could repeatedly do was immediately point to the phone number and tell me that I "need" to call them. Didn't even attempt to help me in ANY WAY whatsoever when all I am trying to do is deposit money in the account. I was truly baffled and almost felt like I was on a prank show or something, it was truly the worst service I've experienced in recent memory. I understand it can't be easy working in a bank but this was just an absolute disgrace of company representation that I needed to immediately write something. I'd highly recommend people choose an alternative financial institution.
