My experience with these guys has been terrible. Mahesh is a very disrespectful man. And Susan was one of the rudest folks I have ever spoken to on the phone. Mahesh thought he had me on hold, while he brutally insulted me to a coworker just because I didnโ€™t understand his explanation and politely asked him to go over it a few times for me. Once I told him I heard everything he was saying about me, he pretended the phone went dead and hung up lol. Is this a grown man, or a child? I could not believe this was the head office of a โ€œnationalโ€ credit union lol. All the good employees must be hanging out at Tim hortons downstairs.

Had to return several times to clear up a mistake THEY made. No charge chequing but very high service fees on other products and services. Asked them to hold a payment for an hour. Said they would but didn't. Cost me $48 service charge. They are just another bank bleeding us. The TD is a much better choice. High pressure sales on loan products.

OMG a nightmare company to deal with they can not even help you over phone for the simple things like redirecting your insurance payments to another account. No only if you get all this paperwork harangue they can do it. Meanwhile they have hidden fees to get you in over account fees, you have to pay before anything is done too and this over account fees are because of there old school ways. I hate coast capital for this old school ways to NOT HELP CUSTOMERS. They need to fix this problem so you call into fix their error in he first place. Thank goodness I moved my mortgage without a problem yet insurance is a bear to move at all. No pun intended. COAST CAPITAL your policies need to come into todayโ€™s banking standards. Many never go into a bank at all only do banking online and on phone even phone is old school. But they ask you to go in to the branch on everything. Time to get into todayโ€™s banking methods. Sheesh ? so ridiculous this company is.

This institution has gone down hill. I usually do my online banking at night before going to bed. The amount of times I have not been able to access my accounts or money is criminal. This does not happen to me ever with TD. Get your s**t together Coast. I should be sleeping right now but instead I'm up waiting so I can transfer money in for my mortgage. You should be paying me by the minute while i sit here waiting for access. You push your employees to get people to bank online and then we cant access it. Save the hassle bank somewhere, anywhere else....and dont even think about working for them. Absolutely a terrible employer! (I know two people that have worked for them combined for over 10 years)

Nice open concept design, lineups aren't that bad & plenty of free parking in the underground lot (to the other reviewer who said it was hard to find free parking here). Very convenient location. Much better than the crappy old location in Central City mall, which I really did not like visiting. There's even some cheap eats in that exact area, such as Fresh Slice. No need to move your car if you want to grab a slice before leaving. Just wish they had more convenient ATMs for the times outside of operational hours. Operational hours should also be extended til 7PM & they should be open regular hours on weekends. Time for Coast Capital to realize these things are necessary in today's society. Regular 9-5 hours M-F & minimal weekend hours simply don't cut it anymore. An update to the hours on Saturdays should be made by their people as well because this branch told me they are open on Saturdays til 3:30PM when I went in. A phone number that is actually answered by a real live person would also put Coast Capital heads above other banks & credit unions. People are sick of the typical robotic voice talking to them & being forced to 'push 1 to.....' etc over & over while traversing their convoluted department menus. UPDATE: Some of the worst online banking I've experienced, sometimes resulting in extra unnecessary bank fees due to the inability for clients to make transfers or payments after certain hours on certain days. Not acceptable.

My mom has been with Coast Capital for many years now, and this location is by far the most rude and racist to their customers than any other location. She went to cash a check their today, which my caucasian dad does all the time and they were giving her so much grief because she is Indigenous. My dad went to another location and cashed the check without issue. I would give 0 stars but unfortunately that is not an option. This isn't the 1950's, and considering what happened with Bank of Montreal recently, you would think Coast Capital would learn not to stereotype their customers. As for my parents, they will be switching their banking services after this! Sorry we don't support racists.

Do they even have any protocol on how to deliver good customer experience?! Absolutely appalling having dealt with this bunch! First got passed around from one person on the phone to another to then yet another, and no one seems to know whatโ€™s the manager of the department is, or even who the manager is at the time. Absolute shambles! I couldโ€™ve gotten frustrated and shouted at them for talking over me rudely whilst I was trying to explain my reason for the call but I just laughed, because it was unbelievable that they would talk to a customer as though theyโ€™re doing me a favour for answering a phone. They desperately need training in handling customer queries over the phone calls. I dread to think what it would be like in person...

You would never see a bank like this in this whole world! Worst experience ever I had in this place. Last Friday, I was trying to get some money out of my international debit bank card which is the only source of funds that I use here in Canada to receive money from my parents. I tried to use in one of their ATM machine to withdraw cash and my card got stuck in there. I called the customer service and told them about it to escalate the issue as soon as possible as I need my card back. I think the lady over the phone was nice and she was trying to help me. Later at 9 am(the time when bank opens), I went into the bank and I told them I got my card stuck in one of the ATM and I need it back. They were like "oh this happen all the time and we only have access to one atm machine so we can get you someone to get it for you because we have to call the ATM technician for this". I saw that they were trying to ignore my request and trying to somehow get rid of this problem as they have no answer for it. So I tried to give them my details and went back home. I also asked them if by any chance if I can call the atm company and request them to keep my card when it is taken out. Their response was NO. In the evening I went back again to see the status of this card so I went to the manager and ask about it. They informed me that they have setup someone to come in to take my card out and collect it on Tuesday and i can expect a call from them. On Tuesday, I was waiting for their call and I never got a call back, so I went into the bank to ask about my card. Now, I met someone else this time who knew about my situation and I asked them if I can pick it up. They said the card cannot be accessed because they don't communicate with the company that handles their ATM machine and my card would have been destroyed by now. I feel like this is complete trap that is happening there. They should at-least put a sign on their machine for people to not use it if they cannot access the machine if things go wrong. Also, I saw that they do not pay much attention to your problem unless you are one of their clients. Worst experience ever! DO NOT EVER USE AN INTERNATIONAL card in their ATM!!!
