Every locks matters in a relaxed atmosphere of good vibes and that star voice. I came out of there with my head in the clouds, very happy with this unique experience. My locks are as good as new, smell great and I'm full of great tips on how to maintain them. I'll be back very soon. Can't wait see you again.

However for me at a Black woman who has been told her whole life that her hair is “too much” my relationship with my hair has always been complicated to say the least. From going to salons when I was a child, to getting my first perm, to all the time I have spent in salon chairs being told that my hair was “too thick” “ too coarse” and just “too much” in general, I didn’t expect very much of difference when I started my loc journey with Clean locs. My goodness was I wrong. To say that it changed my relationship with going to salons would be an understatement. Under any other circumstances I would dread being in a salons for more than 4 hours, but that day I didn’t want to leave. I really recommend her steam washing service every once in a while, it’s like a spa treatment for your locs: the steam feels nice and pretty relaxing, and you’ll be surprised how much cleaner your locs look and feel afterwards. She’s also really friendly and informative if you have any questions about proper hair care during your appointment. Definitely worth coming here.

She took such amazing care of me, I truly thought I was going to have to take out my locs and start over, but she thoroughly detoxed, repaired and breathed life back into my hair. You need to try the Steam+Wash package, its better than a day at the spa! Such a fun and relaxing appointment, Niya is very sweet, warm and hilarious, I was cracking up the entire time. Never having my locs professionally cleaned before, I came in with polluted heavy hair, and left with extremely clean and light dreadlocks (after the SteamWash’nLoc treatment)! She really does have a wealth of knowledge and is a gem, when it comes to maintaining your locs. I just wish I would’ve found them earlier. Will definitely come back for regular retwist and steam cleans. Clean locs is like a spa for your dreadlocs.
