I know several people who have their hair done by her and everyone always looks dynamite! Though of course she specializes in special modlock/dreadlock technique, the people I know mainly get regular haircuts so she really does do everything, and beautifully. She approaches each person's hair with real artistry and professionalism. I highly recommend you check her out.

Karen is the best in her business and takes pride in her work, which is so obvious when you see the end result. Karen started out as my "hairdresser" and has become a friend in the process. I went to Modlocks in Toronto during spring 2018 to advance my knowledge and skill set. Modlocks is a really well run business. The owner is professional and knowledgeable. Her space is really well designed and right in the heart of Toronto. Modlocks workmanship is among the best in the trade and as an educator her education program is concise and comprehensive. Karen is also very friendly and patient. I would recommend Modlocks for service and education.
