L	Lorna Hruby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021: Classic Fireplace supplied and installed a fireplace in our new build house. They claimed that it had been completely installed. It is electronic ignition so unable to use without a remote control. When we told them we couldn’t find the remote control they said it had been left on site and they had a photo to prove it. The photo was never provided. Our contractor was on site daily and never saw a remote (which is large and very distinctive). When he went to their showroom/office to get a new remote (which they charged us for) they didn’t tell him that there is a specific receiver that goes with the remote and didn’t give him one. We tried to use the new remote which of course didn’t work. When they finally came to our house, it turns out that a receiver had NEVER BEEN INSTALLED and that a REMOTE HAD NEVER BEEN LEFT - despite their claims of having photo proof ..... Gary who came to the house was excellent and did install a proper receiver and remote but otherwise it has been an extremely frustrating experience and I certainly can never recommend them. UPDATE Nov2021: I want to amend my review as Classic Fireplace has now completely solved all the issues with the remote and receiver. They have really stepped up and made it right. I appreciate it and I can now recommend them without hesitation.

We had been having issues with another fireplace (not one that they installed) so I asked if they could take a look at it while they were here. Not only did they identify the issue with the second fireplace, but they fixed it, free of charge. We have used them in the past before to service another fireplace and they are always professional, easy to work with and helpful. 100% would recommend!
