About Classic Canadian Tours
Classic Canadian Tours is an Alberta based company, in Calgary and we are celebrating our 17th year of providing unique Canadian vacation experiences. Our specialty is to offer short and efficient tours to regions of Canada that are considered a little off the beaten track.
To inspire Canadians and visitors to our county to take in remote regions of Canada we charter aircraft and fly directly to these regions from major gateway cities. For example, our signature tour over the past decade has been our same day Polar Bear Safari direct from Calgary or Edmonton to Churchill, Manitoba.
The regions of Canada offer stunning landscapes, magnificent wildlife and extreme seasons. Classic Canadian Tours make it easy to discover and explore out of the way corners of Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the day trip to Churchill, Manitoba to see the polar bears with Classic Canadian Tours onboard the tundra buggy bus.
It cost us $2000 per person for the day and turned out to be the biggest waste of money ever and a total disaster.
We saw only 3 bears a great distance away and all were sleeping despite the driver incessantly honking the horn at them.
They put us all on a cramped bus with mainland Chinese tourists and their annoying cameras. The food was awful.
The bears had large radio collars around their neck and none of them woke up for pictures despite the driver shouting and honking the horn at them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went from Edmonton to Churchill on a chartered plane and then got on a tundra buggie to go out and see the bears. A trip to top all trips we seen many bears the drivers were so respectful of the wildlife. Our pictures and memories will last a lifetime. 100 % Classic Canadian is the way to go see bears.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bryan and I had an amazing time on our Polar Bear Safari with Classic Canadian Tours Nov. 2/18. We saw 13 Bears, all of which were magnificent to look at. Bill, the owner had everything organized perfectly for us. The guest Naturalists, Brian, Laura and Les were all fantastic. Our Tundra Buggy driver was a great guide with all kinds of good information.
On a final note, there was not one thing that we weren't happy with on this tour. Right from the hotel choice (Marriott Courtyard Airport) and booking, the shuttle rides to and from airport, the flights themselves, the bus pick up and drop offs in Churchill, everything was as you would hope it to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got this trip for my wife as her birthday present. I got major brownie points for it as she told me it was the best trip ever !! It has been a lifeline DREAM of hers to see polar bears in their natural habitats and this trip was perfect for that. We got up close and personal with the bears and the tour guides had so much information for us!! Loved every minute of it wish I could go again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing once in a lifetime tour for me. From getting on the plane in Calgary to getting on the bus to go out and see the polar bears everything was just perfect. The tour guides were so amazingly knowledgeable and provided so much information. We were able to get super close to the bears and I enjoyed myself immensely. Worth every penny!!
