But we told them we were interested in a tour and withing ten minutes we had watched the safety video and were being guided by their ground crew to the helicopter... We did their shortest tour option and it was a great deal for the price. Amazing views. Smooth flying. History and trivia tidbits while flying and an awesome crew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alpine Helicopters Inc. came to our rescue on our wedding day when a previously arranged helicopter company cancelled last minute. Your company saved our day by going above and beyond all levels of customer service and flew my bride and I to the top of the Lead Queen mountain for our ceremony.
On the night of August 28th 2014 we received bad news. The company which agreed to fly us to our wedding ceremony cancelled the night before our wedding. The following morning (day of our wedding) I called every Helicopter company trying to make alternate arrangements – only Alpine Helicopters Inc. answered our plea for help.
I contacted Paul (operator of the Golden BC Base location) at 7AM on the day of our wedding. Within an hour Paul had shuffled the Alpine Helicopters schedule to accommodate flying a helicopter from Golden to the Invermere airport to pick us up. I cannot think of another company which realized the importance of our wedding day and went to such great lengths to accommodate Julie and I.
There is great customer service and then there is Alpine Helicopters – both Julie and I cannot praise and thank Paul, our amazing pilot, and the rest of the Alpine Helicopter staff enough! Without your actions our very special day would have been very different. We also recognize that Alpine Helicopters didn’t take advantage of the situation, flight charges were not inflated which showed genuine care of our situation.
What you guys did for us will not be forgotten and we’ll be spreading the word. I couldn’t have asked for more. Once again, a very warm and heartfelt thank-you from Julie and I for making our special day possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Experience with Alpine Helicopters was a bit of a mixed bag. The helicopter ride from Mount Assiniboine Lodge to Mount Shark Helipad was well organized and breathtaking.
We did however hit a fairly big snag; we arrived on Saturday morning around 8 am to drop one of our packs (which contained tent, sleeping bag, pad, and provisions), expecting to collect our bag from Mount Assiniboine Lodge that afternoon. We interacted with two members of staff, telling them about our plans to hike that morning and stay for one night, returning on Sunday around noon via helicopter.
After hiking 26 km from Mount Shark Trailhead to Assiniboine Lodge in six hours and relaxing with a well earned tea + cake + lemonade stop, it was quite a shock to discover that our pack had not been delivered, and that gear drops only happened Friday, Sunday, and Wednesday. Fortunately Assiniboine Lodge were able to lend us some emergency gear, so we lived, albeit a bit cold without the low temperature sleeping bags we had specifically rented from MEC.
The situation was so easily avoidable; all it would have taken was either staff member to say "oh you know that we won't be delivering this pack till tomorrow" and we would have carried it ourselves. When we returned to collect our pack no apology was offered, and we were given an excuse about the relationship between the Lodge and Alpine Helicopters.
Fortunately Assiniboine Lodge saved our butts, but this irritating and potentially dangerous situation was so easily avoidable that its difficult to not feel let down by Alpine Helicopters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we booked this heli tour as a present for my sister's birthday just this Monday Sept 28 , we we're so excited and really looking forward for the best experience. Well its not! The pilot was not so eager and pleasant, from the time he asked us if we can reschedule the trip or we can continue. We chose to continue and from that moment he wasn't as friendly and gave us a very cold treatment. The whole experience is ruined by this pilot that makes us feel uncomfortable the entire time. Yes, I will remember this trip for a long time, but not in a good way. Ill give you 2 stars because the attendant at the help desk are really nice to us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience of flying with Alpine Helicopters was incredible. We didn't even have the best weather, but the experience will stay with me for the rest of my life! We did the Marvel Pass route and got to come up close and personal with a glacier, plus landed and explored on top of a mountain. Our guide, Chris, was so friendly and knowledgeable. Cannot say enough great things!

He was extremely professional and easy to talk to, but was also kind enough to take our picture while my fiancé proposed to me on the mountain top. Thanks to him we have priceless photos we will always cherish. He went above and beyond for us including radioing another pilot to come fly over us so we could get a cool picture with it! So thank you so much Morgan for the amazing experience.
