My husband and I had joined the Deluxe Fairmont Experience Banff 4 days tour on March 10, 2022. From booking the tour till the end of the tour, I would say they had provided good service, trying their best to help and considerate. When I called to book, they found that “their” room type was fully booked at Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel due to an event there, so we were asked to pay extra for a different room type. Whenever we needed to pay more than what is posted for the tour, of course, I’d be unhappy. Westar Travel said it was the best they could do for us. We had no choice but to add more money for this particular room type, deluxe king room as we had booked our flights and an extra night stay in Calgary after the tour. A day before our arrival in Calgary, I missed two phone calls from our tour guide, Daniel Zhao, as I was working. Then I received his text message saying where to wait at the airport upon arrival. Our flight was an early flight and arrived Calgary at 8:15 am. Jennifer, who booked us the tour said she’ll tell the guide to pick us up at this time with no extra cost as per their company, pick up time starts at 11am. When I received the text message, I thought Daniel knew about this. We waited and waited, he didn’t show up. Then I called him. He said pick up time was 11am but he came anyway within 10 mins. Despite all these “misunderstanding “, “miscommunications”, we still enjoyed our trip as Daniel did do an excellent job. He’s friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and talkative. He’s very professional in his job! He was always there whenever we needed something and responded to my text immediately. I would strongly recommend Westar Travel and Daniel Zhao as the driver/tour guide. Thank you, Daniel, Jennifer and all personnel at the office whom I’d spoken with!

We just finished the Fairmont Experience Banff 4 days tour with Westar Travel.Thanks for Westar, we had such a wonderful trip despite the extreme cold weather (-31°C.) and bad road condition. Shelley picked up us from airport after 10:00 pm at Christmas Eve and helped us to check in to the hotel. Daniel is our first day tour guide, he is very professional and knowledgeable, we learned a lot about rocky mountain from him. Last two days we had John as tour guide, John is very caring and responsible. Since the Banff Gondola was closed due to the bad weather, the Westar arranged other site seeing instead, John asked everyone's concern, and tried very hard to make everyone happy.On the way back to Calgary, we saw Moose and took pictures, and he drop off us at airport around 6:30 which makes a perfect ending. Three Fairmont Hotels are so impressive, especially in cold winter, you have lots indoor time,definitely worth to try this tour. Winnie contact us after the trip and refund us the Gondola ticket fee. Thanks again for all your hard work, we will be back in summer time and Westar is the best and only choice.

Our tour guide William Lam for our Canadian Rockies Mountain tour is very good in both Mandarin and English. He can speak Cantonese also. He explained very well the different sceneries, histories and also tell stories to us. He brought us to many beautiful places and even add some places and sceneries not in our itinerary. We like him very much. He is well versed with the tour that he is leading. I highly recommend him to be your tour guide.

Simon was very friendly and polite! He was also very knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting and about what was filmed or currently being filmed in calgary and the surrounding areas which was very interesting to know. He was great at pointing out wildlife, half the time I don't think I would have seen it without him mentioning them. It was an awesome tour would 100% go again!
