Always passed by this restaurant and finally decided to try it out. Oh man!...this place is AWESOME!!! We bought four pieces of fish and it had great taste. Nice batter and crispy. Try it out and I am sure you will not be disappointed. Will be coming back to try other items. 4 pieces were $18.05 including tax. I believe they only accept cash or debit.

Would not recommend this place. Saw the good reviews and wanted to stop in to try something local. The guy who served me did not have a mask on nor did he attempt to find one. The batter of the chicken dominated Everything. Luckily it was well seasoned but that’s the only good part. Was so little chicken underneath the breading. Tip; bring your cash or debit as the don’t take credit

Visited City Fried Chicken for the first time yesterday and I'm so mad at myself for not checking this place out earlier. It is delicious. If you want tasty food then I highly encourage you to order anything off of their menu. We got the fried chicken, Philly cheese stake, burger, and wings. The burger was good, the Philly cheese stake was great, and the wings were awesome (good amount of meat and awesome hot sauce). All that being said, the fried chicken was the show stopper. They use dark meat, which is a no brainer if you ask me. The delicious crunch from the outside coupled with the incredibly juicy meat on the inside is exactly what you want from a piece of fried chicken. Cannot recommend it enough. Additionally, the legend behind the counter is a wonderfuly friendly guy and a great cook. Cant wait to come back to make up for lost time. PS: the fries are awesome as well.

I tried this place because I read that their Philly Cheesesteak was amazing. So I was willing to give it a try. I ordered the following: 1. Philly Cheesesteak ($8.99) 2. Onion Rings ($4.99) It took a while to prepare my food (there were a few people ahead of me). Luckily there were a few chairs to sit while waiting for your order. It took them 35 mins for my order. Two other customers came in after me and received their order before me! I suspect the make the orders according to food type instead of in order of purchase. The Philly was too spicy for my taste. Had I known, I would have asked for the sauce on the side or half the amount. I checked their menu online and it listed "hot sauce" but their menus in store doesn't list ingredients. Also by the time they wrapped it up and I brought it home, it didn't look very nice for pictures. All the ingredients melded into each other. Sorry readers - no nice picture from me! The onion rings were advertised as 10 pieces. But I got 15 - not complaining.Β  These onion rings are the very thin kind but the batter was crispy and tasty. The thing I didn't like was I discovered they had poured salt on the rings - made it too salty! I've had onion rings from so many different restaurants and not once have they pour salt on them. They should have asked if I wanted salt. They sell fried chicken, chicken wings, fried fish, burgers, sandwiches, subs, pizza products. Many of their mains can be upgraded to combos (fries and pop) for $4 or $5 more. There are also an assortment of sides. This is a Halal restaurant. They only accept cash or debit. There is no free WiFi. There are no customer washrooms. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but no door-open button. This is great local business that offers great burger and fried chicken. It is a bit small but homely. Food always tastes good and prices are affordable. If you are halal eater, whole menu is halal so you would be welcome here.

Mom-n-pop-Shop at its finest!!! The steak on fries is literally the best thing ever. It's dirty, Messy, unconventional yet utterly delicious and a must try... Think Poutine meets Philly Cheese steak. Also, the young man who served me is a machine. He couldn't be older than 15 but he's doing a great job running the front of house. ... update. Still awesome!

I enjoy this little family restaurant. It's been around for a while and really reminds me of old Toronto days when you can afford takeout ? Its a halal burger joint with fried chicken pieces and wings. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich with spicy mayo

Loved this place a lot! It was a last minute decision to grab some food! I’m definitely gonna try again? Their Steak on Fries is really good, when I asked them to prepare with Chicken instead of Beef, the did a great job ??
