Didn't found the place and then realised that there was no meeting point, we were suppose to find the guide but he wasnt there because they had never received our reservation even if I did received the email confirmation. After calling, the guide made it late and made the tour quickly because he had an another group after. He was disguised but not acting (he answered to his cellphone during the tour). He was rude with the people not from our group listening to him, instead of just inviting them to make a reservation if they were interested to make the whole tour. So the visit was shorter, because the guide was late and he told us lot of stuff quite interesting but in perfect disorder and when we asked questions or he didnt listen, or he didnt know, or he didnt seem sure of the answer. The castle is beautiful though and we went to places inside we wouldnt have seen without the tour, but we didnt visit any room even if the guide talks a lot about it during the tour.

Guided Tour of Château Frontenac with Cicerone Tours. Buy your ticket from their desk inside the Centre Infotouriste de Québec at 12 Rue Sainte-Anne. Our tour guide was in costume and character as Louis, Earl du Buade, Governor of New France. I thought the tour would be hokey because of this, but it was not at all! It was totally worth the $21. I had first tried exploring the hotel on my own the day before, but I didn't have much success. So I decided to take the tour. We learned so much history of the hotel, and learned about famous people who stayed and events that happened there. We got to see one of the guest rooms, the bar, restaurant, ladies' tea room, ballroom, and more. The tour ended with a charming story.

I have worked with Cicerone for several years and I found them to be one of the best in the industry. Particularly in Quebec City, Montreal and Ottawa. They have the best (most experienced) tour guides and it’s so easy to deal with them because they are very flexible and willing to go out of their way to make their customers happy. I always got great reviews from my clients because of them! I highly recommend Cicerone!!!

I did the Chateau Frontenac tour, it started out great, we were told about the architecture, design, materials, and painting of the front room but then we went to the basement to watch pictures on a tv, then we moved to a room for a picture on a wall, then we walked by a bunch of cool looking objects they have from the past decades but the tour guide said we should come back on our own time. Then we went to a small hallway to view the roofs which was cool but I couldn't see them because the other guests were blocking the view and the guide did not help guide so we could all have a turn. Instead she stood at the front and showed us pictures from her binder and told us stories. The stories were fun but I couldn't see the pictures in the binder from the back. We then went downstairs outside a room we could not go in to view more pictures in the small binder and more stories. I found it disappointing that due to filming happening in the closed rooms (two included in the tour) we were stuck to viewing pictures on a TV and binder and could not visit any other rooms. We always stayed in hallways. Since the rooms were taken for filming, I would have expected a small discount or viewing of different rooms. The tour guide herself was really great, she had a fun costume and was in character, her personality was joyful and happy. She was only doing her job but I would hope that the company had foreseen the lack of actual tour and either canceled it or altered it to fill the price I paid. Otherwise the castle was very nice and cool to visit but the tour itself was disappointing.

Great local tourist company. I was lucky to see the Chateau Frontenac with "Emily Post" who was charming and informative. We saw and learned more than I thought we might. So glad I did this! Arrangements made before-hand were handled with kindness as I had booked on the wrong day, and they were able to accommodate my last-day changes. Very nice people.

I booked two tours - one was a 2h city walking tour, and another was for Fairmount. The guides were so friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!

It is a really great guided tour. I booked for an English guided tour to Fairmont le château Frontenac. My tour guide was Thomas. His explanation was excellent. Sometimes he also added more detail info about the château. He was also a humorous person. I really enjoy the guided tour. It is worth to take this tour for getting to know the château. I recommend this tour!

We got a private winter tour of old quebec city with Rene. It was an english tour and Rene did an excellent job of describing the history, architectural styles and significance of the various monuments in old town. He was very clear in his english which made the tour very comprehensible. He was very patient and helped us manuever the snowy streets. We could see his passion and love for the city and its history. Highly recommend getting this tour with Rene especially if its your first visit to the city.
