★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited when it was still being renovated, so not much to see. If you'd like to learn about how forts were built, the underlying hate between the French and English that helped formed Canada, this is a place to visit. For 30-mins. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great site to visit to understand the impact of the industrial revolution on military action and how their armaments got outdated pretty quickly. I love that the tour can be self guided or with an interpreter and that there is a logical order to the exhibit, unlike other historical places I've been to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We did a self guided tour (leave ID at the desk to borrow a book). The kids participated in the Xplorers challenge and it was great! Some parts were under construction but there was still enough to do. Parking was difficult with a trailer, we parked on the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful American civil war era fortification that has exhibits (in air conditioned rooms) which are open during covid and tunnels and ramparts for the kids to explore. Children are free. Definitely worth the time to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to spend an hour (the guided tour was particularly useful). This is one of three forts (the only one still standing) in Lévis, which were built to protect Quebec from a possible US invasion during the civil war (not that the US would ever invade another country, of course).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ History before your very eyes and what is interesting is the guns point south to a time when our star spangled friends were no so friendly.
