Chronic Ink - Tattoo Shop Vancouver

This is my first tattoo and I decided to go with Chronic Ink as they are reputable. They suggested Jason to me as I was looking to get a fine line floral piece. From the very beginning, everything felt disorganized as there was confusion with my appointment dates and even the wrong Tiffany. The day of, when I asked him to tweak a peony style to my liking he said he didn’t want to “waste his time” doing to do so. How is it a waste of time to adjust the stencil to your clients liking as it will be on them permanently? How unprofessional and rude to say something like that. Jason also wanted to charge me a second deposit for it because it was a “complete redesign” but it was not. I asked for ONE peony to be adjusted to my liking. I understood their policy when I booked but this was not a “complete redesign” so to even want to charge me for another deposit felt unfair. Jason was also quite unwilling and hesitant to make minor changes to the stencil. It felt like he was inconvenienced by it. After my first session, he asked me to finish the remainder piece with him at his “private studio.” I said ok on the spot as I didn’t think much about it. I called Chronic Ink to confirm it was ok and safe to do so after I found out it was at a residential place. They told me they never heard of it from Jason. Not long after, Jason sent me a message sounding pretty upset that I even called Chronic Ink. I apologized a couple times as I didn’t want to make anything awkward and uncomfortable between us as I still had a tattoo to finish. He left me on read and never replied. At some point, I was also blocked on IG by Jason. Overall, I would not recommend Jason to anyone.

Such amazing experience with those guys. I did get my two realism tattoos already . The first with cherry ( i did my dog) and the second one was with hwawol ( my parent's) and I'm more than happy to have such beautiful art on my arms.. Looking forward to get more..

I've been looking for an artist to work with on a floral sleeve for years. I was searching instagram one day in August and happened across Jason's work. I was obsessed, I sent in a request and was booked within 48 hours. When the time came to planning out the piece and getting a drawing, Jason was great, explained his process so that I could make the best decision on how to start the sleeve. We decided to start with a natural plant creeping from my chest onto my shoulder and we'll keep working down my arm. I asked that we start with a poppy and juniper. His drawing blew me away, it wasn't just poppy and juniper, it was poppies, juniper and other leaves. The actual day of, started on time, he was friendly and responsive. He's so light handed, it was the easiest and most pain free tatt I have ever gotten, a couple of twingy spots but otherwise, I was completely floored when he said "We're done!" after 4 hours, time passed so quickly, I could have easily gone 6+. The details are insane, you'd have to see it in person to really see and appreciate his art. If you're looking for floral work, I highly suggest Jason! I look forward to continuing this piece!!

Started a leg sleeve with Brian Dangerfield at Chronic Ink this month, and I can't wait for it to be finished. I came in with a bit of a head-scratcher idea and only a couple reference pictures, and had to let him run with it to try and fuse my idea into his art style. When I went in to start the tattoo and have my first look at what he came up with, I was over the moon with what I saw. He knocked it out of the park, and I couldn't picture a better representation of what I wanted on my leg. Friendly and accommodating during our first back-to-back tattoo days, very excited to see the rest of the work come to life. All staff I've interacted with have been friendly, professional, and honest. Would highly recommend this studio and/or artist to any of my family or friends if they wanted to get work done.

I recently got a tattoo from Erica and she did an amazing job with the design I wanted. She was very kind and easy to talk to. I cant wait to have my tattoo finished! Only complaint was the wait time for the email team to get back to me on booking the appointments.

From the moment I walked in here I felt comfortable and trusting of all the staff - important for my first tattoo. I am a 66 year old woman and at no time did I feel that was an issue. Kyle, my tattoo artist, was attentive and interested in my story and my design. He did an absolutely beautiful job - I love my tattoo so much. No issues whatsoever with healing. Can't recommend highly enough.

I am really sad with my tattoo. I got my tattoo done by Cherry. I paid $432 with the tip. It took an hour and a half. I was expecting a lot more as this place is quite reputable. A lot of the lines are uneven, different thickness, not straight, and cross over or don’t even connect at all. Each claw is also very different in shape and size

I highly recommend this place! Initially, a friend got an amazing tattoo at this studio and recommended the artist Erica. All the process was seamless since I reached out to them. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the place: it's clean, professional and the staff is friendly. The first impression was very important because it was my very first tattoo. I got a tattoo from Erica and I'm sooo happy with her work! She did an amazing job! Plus, she is nice, patient, and professional. I felt confident and comfortable all along. I'm obsessed with my new tattoo. I'm very satisfied with Chronic Ink tattoo and my tattooer. Thank you so much Erica! I'll come back :)
