I worked for these ladies for a year. They were always good to me, positive, flexible and helpful. I would work for them again.

It's been 3 months since I applied or registered with Choice Office, and as I have never ONCE been contacted for a position, I can't give them a very high rating or recommendation. I dislike their computer testing- unlike Randstad's which I did very well on, their testing on the software for MS Word and Excel is set up (they don't use 'Prove It' that even the Alberta Government and Randstad uses, either) so that you are almost doomed to fail. If you don't select the right answer after two tries, it simply moves to the next question, so I scored a lot lower than I did on the Prove It testing with Randstad and the AB Government as part of their screening process. I found the testing really unfair, and I only did well on the typing (especially the spelling part) and handwritten tests, which I also found unfair, because you're not even given a calculator to do to the math questions! (percents etc) Even in my business math course at college we all were given calculators! I met with a very kind, personable woman whose name I don't remember, although she did give me another girl named Meghan's business card who reviewed my test scores with me, and the one thing that sticks out in my mind, is her saying to me, 'I can't promise you anything.' While they allow you to redo these same software tests in order to improve your score, I'm not sure I will be back just because of the way the testing software is set up. Unlike Randstad, who are terrible for responding back to me by both phone and e-mail when I notify them about my availability, Choice Office has been better I found this past summer and DO respond, but they have yet to contact me about any available office positions.

When I was a young 25 year old single mom who was new to the big city, Choice Personnel was the first place I worked and they became not just my employers but my friends. They are very good at what they do but they are also really caring people. I have worked for them on and off over the years and they have provided me with some amazing experiences and I've had some pretty fantastic jobs. I would highly recommend them as both an employer and as an employee.

Choice is by far the best employment agency in Edmonton. I had seen their website and decided to use other vendors first. I was in need of work as soon as possible and was switching my career. Two friends suggested that I should try choice. I hesitated because I was not impressed by the website. However, all the places I had applied to with a good website had yet to contact me. So I took a chance. The day after I applied I called to make sure that they had received my resume and I asked if there was anything else they needed from me. They asked me to come in for an interview and assessment. When I arrived in the office everyone was very friendly. I went through different assessments to test my skills within the first hour. The second half of my time there was spent in an interview. I explained my situation and they said there shouldn't be an issue finding me work. The next day my phone rang and I had a job. I couldn't believe it. That is way too fast right? Well here I am working a great job and surrounded with people who have the same values and work ethics that I do. I didn't go a long time without work and Choice is continually looking for a permanent position for me at my highest preference of salary. Thank you Choice and I would suggest this company to anyone.

This was not the first staffing agency I have gone to in Edmonton but they have certainly proven to be the best. Testing is done in their office so you are both on the same page about your skills. Everyone in the office has the same goal- to help employers and jobseekers find good matches. The staff was friendly and helpful, encouraging and were successful in finding me a great new opportunity. I recommend them above any other!
