Images of Distinction Photography - Edmonton

I ordered the MVP Deluxe package for my graduation pictures on Friday January 6th, 2017. I payed over $300 for the package including gst. It's now Friday February 3rd and I have yet to receive my pictures. I personally feel like this process has taken longer than it should have, and over 4 weeks to receive pictures is an unreasonable amount of time. I payed a premium for these pictures, I expect premium service. $300 and I've got to wait over a month for the pictures to arrive? That's bad customer service. I got these pictures as a surprise for my parents, and they've been waiting for weeks for this "surprise." My mom's convinced that I should contact the business bureau because this sounds like a scam. I know it's not a scam, but rather very, very, very bad service. I'd also like to note that I did send an email to images of distinction on Friday January 20th. The company replied on Saturday January 21st, saying I would receive my pictures the upcoming week. Which I obviously did not, as I'm still waiting on my pictures to arrive. I sent a second email on Friday January 27th, as I had not yet received my pictures and was also concerned that they would be delivered Friday night when I was away from my house. The company didn't reply till Tuesday at 5:09pm tell me I would get them Friday (feb 3rd) or Monday. But I spent the whole weekend at the ski hill worried my $300 photo package was sitting on my front step in the elements. Now that my Canada post office has come and gone for the day (Friday feb 3rd), I've got to hope I'll get them on Monday February 6th, over a month past since I payed and ordered. After $300 spent and over 4 weeks in waiting, I feel like I should be compensated for this bad customer service. I paid for the best, and the most expensive package, and I feel like I'm getting ripped off. Moral of the story, if your ordering pictures expect to wait a very, very long time for them.

This company was used for my college graduation so I called multiple times to make an appointment, but no one ever called me back, so I had use the webpage that was poorly made and hard to use. The guy who took my first set of photos did them really really well. But the gown was in the wrong colours, so I had a terrible time trying to make a new appointment for the right gown! No one would answer my calls so I was forced to go to the college admin to contact them on my behalf. Then I get the second set of photos done and pay for my product. They sent me the original photos in the wrong gown! This company is so frustrating to work with and their customer service is very low. I will never use this company again or recommend them.

They may claim to be the best, boast about great service, happy customers and more but beware of what you see and hear. Thanks to them my wedding memories are destroyed, trust me when I tell you there are many more photographers out there that are better, cheaper and far more honest in their dealings ... Only reason I gave them one star is that you cannot give zero stars which is what they deserve

Great photography studio with amazing staff! Highly talented and able to get you the Quality, Service, Flexibility and Turnaround you are looking for. Solid studio over many, many years. Multiple Family photo sessions & Wedding all done and never a single issue! High recommendation!

I can’t say enough about the photographers and the team, Yaroslav and Ksenya. We've used their company on a number of occasions from our wedding, to photographing our newborns, and family photos through the years. They have continued to be phenomenal through the years. Each interaction is more personable, professional, and willing to also have fun since our family has toddlers that only seem to look at the camera and smile when they are the ones taking photos. They have helped and will continue to help make our families experiences and memories something that we will always remember.
