Delicious chocolate and a great selection! Reasonably priced, but the jalapeno chocolate bar had little flavour, it tasted like a cheap chocolate bar. I didn't want to pay ~$12 for a small rosemary chocolate bar. The old stand-bys were delicious: strawberry creme-fraiche, salted caramel, toffee. I'll be back again.

I went to Bernard Callebaut yesterday around 4:30 PM where there was a line up outside in the cold. I then proceed to the side window to read the signs posted outside that indicated they are sold out of there holiday boxes and were getting in a shipment on Wednesday. I decided to go home and call them the next morning to see what the deal was, when I called to inquire the girl Laura was extremely rude. I informed her I read the signs yesterday that indicated they would be getting a shipment in today, she told me they got a shipment in yesterday afternoon and have sold out. I was obviously disappointed and explained about the signs. She rudely said we must have missed one, but there was more one than one sign posted. Then yelled at me about being upset and hung up on me. I have been a loyal customer for years, and have never been treated this way. Poor customer service at the Edmonton Pesentaview location. Very disappointed!!

Very expensive chocolate, tasted excellent however. My issue was the service. The lady working there acted almost upset that we were in there giving them business. No thank you, no smile, and no chat. I feel like when you are spending this kind of money the service better be top notch.

An amazing little gem of a store. Great location, only 3 parking stalls for the shop beside it, however lots of free parking on the other side of the store. The staff were amazing, very friendly, knowledgeable about all the chocolates, very fast service even when it was very busy. Lots of detail, even wrapped the chocolates. A bit pricey, but worth every penny!! Fresh, and delicious. Would definitely go back. The building is older so is not wheelchair accessible or for those with a Walker would be difficult due to small space inside and entry way.

1) To allow only two customers and rush them is very poor customer service oriented ...lost sales! 2) Please don't be bais on who to give the proper bags! You can do better than a small clear plastic bags that they have at a produce dept of grocery stores....doesn't match with your name! Treat your customers the same no matter how much they spent at your store because you don't know how much sales you lose.

I have been a Callebaut Chocoholic for more years then I care to count or admit. I had frequented all locations in Edmonton and found the service friendly at all. I live closest to Pleasantview so that is my go to store. I was not impressed at whatever happened for Christmas 2020. There was very little selection for the Xmas theme. No decent size hollow chocolate Santa’s, etc. No β€œChristmas Logs”. The regular chocolate boxes were available, already prepackaged or fill your own by weight. Not even a small Christmas decoration on the boxes that have been a standard little decor with the ribbon since I can remember from a child was done. The shelves were scant and this was not quite mid-December, plenty of time to the actual holiday. Hence the docking of one star. I did not find the Staff ever rude as others did. If anything I found them somewhat embarrassed for having to answer the same questions continuously of, β€œWhere is all your regular merchandise?? NO Christmas Logs? Any coming in soon?” Where are the big Santa’s on the back shelves every year?? And due to it being a very small store, only 2 people are allowed in due to Covid restrictions. That is not Callebaut’s fault. With Valentine’s Day only days away, I do hope whatever problems Bernard Callebaut is going through, can be resolved. As a loyal client their product is absolutely bar none the best chocolatier in Canada!

Have been solid fans of products from the COCO side . Bought from the Edmonton 51 Avenue location, where I found out COCO chocolates were no longer offered and location was now a Bernard Callebaut location, with no ties to Coco. New chocolates from Bernard Callebaul was underwelming, had lack of form, looked as if they were mass produced versus hand formed, and disappointing in taste compared to previous COCO version. Seems I may have to go to Calgary to get my chocolates in future.

Love this place, they have amazing chocolates, both single in boxes and bars or covering pretzels. It's small and cute with an amazing variety for the space and the staff are always super helpful and friendly as I'm frantically trying to decide which chocolates to pick and adding more chocolate items on after
