★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently went there, and I found the local store owner was very disrespectful. She followed me around the store and kept pestering me to either purchase something and get or just to get out. In particular, she approached me when I was placing my intended purchases on the counter and rudely demanded that I was to 'remember the rest of the items in my bag' (hinting that she doubted my intention to pay for everything...). I have never been treated so poorly before, and I will never go back to this store again.
It's cheaper and a much more pleasant experience to walk to Save On Foods instead. Or take a bus to Safeway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store has insanely high prices and extremely poor costumer service. What is even more upsetting is that now the store is using the pandemic for their own profit. I wanted to return the 2 items I had bought the previous day but the store manager told me that he would only return one because they had no return policy due to the pandemic. This made no sense and when I asked him why he wouldn't return the other item he replied he didn't know where all I had kept it. Moreover, he got extremely rude and said unprofessional things to me even after I told him that I was a regular costumer. In the end, he refused to return anything. Never going back there again and honestly who would ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The baggy-eyed asian grandma was overly rude, shouting and harassing me when I shop there. I saw she does that to alot of other customers. Crazy savageness...Really disappointed! I thought the shop was convenient and the rest of the crew was super nice! Really suggest removing her! Im sure alot of ppl from the neighbourhood will appreciate that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most horrible store in UBC. I bought a bag of green veggie the other day, and saw some wholes on the leave. I thought it was visited by worms. I was wrong. It IS the house of worms! I spent more then 30 minutes to wash them. Be careful with their price tag as they may charge you higher than what the label says. Their customer service is also really unfriendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible horrible store. Almost everything is rotten and overpriced, and when you get to the checkout the rude woman working there overcharges you for fruit, expecting you won’t realize it. When you catch her and try to correct her, she tries to justify overcharging you, and pretends its your fault. Avoid this mess.

prices are fair for a business located on campus. The produce prices actually beat H-mart and save-ons occasionally.

Every time I buy something there, the counter lady charges more than it should be. She counts cheap apples as expensive ones, beets go for a price of plums, etc.
Looks like it as usual practice there.
They obviously do not respect customers.
