β β β β β I love China Star. Great portion sizes, delicious food, fast service, great prices, and an all around great place for Chinese food. I recommend the fried chicken wings and the beef and broccoli as those are my favourites. My parents love the fried chicken wings as well, definitely some of the best in town. As for the beef and broccoli, the beef is tender and cooked to perfection, pairing it with broccoli makes it a great combo. I would definitely come here again.

β β β β β This was our first time ordering from this place. Overall, food was great for the price, and food was ready when they said it would be ready. My favourite was the fried beef with Chinese greens. Beef was tender and beggies were fresh. Next is the house special with mixed veggies. Again, veggies were fresh and great flavour. The Kung Pao chicken could be spicier. I am not sure if we can request to make it spicier but it would have been much better if it was (might just be my preference). We are not a fan of the hot and sour soup. Very different than what we are used to. We found it salty and almost has a burnt taste. We also got the egg rolls and those were great! Thin, crispy shell and full, meaty filling! We will definitely be back but will skip the soup next time.

β β β β β I have ordered from China Star many times. The food is fantastic. My problem with trying to star is that almost every order we place something gets mixed up. They either forget to give you a dish completely, or they give you the wrong dish. Every time I go there now I have to go to my car open the bags check the order and then go back to have my order corrected.
Considering this is their livelihood and their business, you would think that it would be important to them to get orders correct each and every time. This doesn't seem to be the case here.

β β β β β Great food. General Tso chicken is great - perfect amount of batter, nice and crispy, good spice.
Spring rolls are huge! Have had their Cantonese Chow mein, and Singapore noodles- both good, with generous amounts of meat.
Ginger beef is alright - ginger flavor is minimal. Chicken balls are nice and crispy, fluffy on the inside. Pad Thai flavour could be a bit more robust but still a good meal.
Overall - really enjoyable food.

Ok...they don't jump up and down with excitement when they take your money but it's definitely an even trade......
Great food and you give them the money.
They aren't rude....they are the best cooks not social workers.

Great portions. Do not skimp like other Chinese takeout. Lots of chicken in the S&S Chicken balls and chicken chop suey. Egg rolls were very good. Fried rice was great. Will be back.
