★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a double campsite for a large group of us and it was the smallest double site I've ever seen. We couldn't fit any of our cars on the site with our tents. Some of the single sites were bigger. There is also no privacy. All the campsites are crammed together.
This is a real family campground and no one seems to tent. Everyone has a giant RV and runs their generators all day.
The lake and beach are super nice but it was so busy on a sunny day that it wasn't enjoyable at all. There were kids screaming everywhere and no space at all.
The rangers do rounds but they never carry any firewood which is annoying. Every time we wanted some we had to ask them to come back on their second round and wait around for them. They apparently sold some at the front but we went there and they weren't. There's so many people selling wood along the road in, I'd recommend getting it there.
