★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: Beautiful views and great access to Lake Koocanusa with beaches and a boat launch. Cons: The campground is somewhat poorly maintained and managed. There’s no response when you contact them for days and they gave away our site even after letting them know we would be arriving at 10pm friday night. We got stuck in one site for a night and then we were told we needed to move our tent in the morning to our original reserved site. No garbages. No water pumps. No table and we had to build our own fire pit even though most of the sites did have both. There are also cows roaming through the sites. We borrowed a shovel from the camp host to shovel some of the fresh cow pies so we could lay our tent...very dusty.
