There were warning signs for bears and pumas. Also the road was not very clearly marked, so we had to pay a little attention to that as well.

Pretty difficult trail for a 15 year old Jack Russell terrier and even tougher for the dog Mudder that had to carry him! Lots of boulders and steep slopes to climb. As a result only made it part way but still enjoyed the Creekside at the beginning. There was a school group descending so it was busy when we were there.
J	Jennifer Dodds on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This trail was absolutely amazing. Went with my partner, our friend, and our dog. Definitely a moderate hike. It’s basically a straight upward incline and you need to scale boulders and trees to get up. The view at the top is absolutely worth it. If you’re going at a pretty standard pace with water breaks, it will likely take around 2.5 hours (including a lake break at the top). Make sure to bring lots of water and snacks!
