Today our server, I believe her name is Melissa (sorry I forgot to ask but I overheard this name!) was great, super funny and an awesome server! We will definitely continue to come back to this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant has been satisfying customers for nearly forty years. The food is fresh, homemade, valuable, plentiful, and extremely flavourful. Chianti Cafe is a Calgary staple and millions of Calgarians and visitors will agree that if you’re looking for freshly-made Italian comfort food, there is no better place to go than this. Highly recommended! Both the South and North locations are wonderful.

I am a native Calgarian and grew up in south Calgary. Chianti was a regular go to restaurant for years for my family, especially pasta Tuesday’s.
I loved the Prawns and bruschettaas an appetizer, as well as the unique seafood salad I added salmon too. My daughter loves the classic fettuccine Alfredo and my husband’s signature dish, he can only find at Chianti’s is, tortalenni romanof, his favorite!
I moved up to the NW for 6 years, & last month back to Willow Park area, and Chianti’s is a “welcome back” all time favourite restaurant. Family atmosphere, excellent food, unique dishes you can’t find anywhere else in the city. Wonderful friendly staff, Todd and Ken who greeted me as I entered is super friendly and personable. They kept the restaurant running perfectly as I was waiting for my take out order. The lovely lady Maya, was also above and beyond my expectations for a super busy night. I believe the quality of the food, plus the customer service and local family restaurant atmosphere is what people keep coming back for, I know this is why me & my family will.
If you want to eat in for supper/dinner, I would recommend reservations, take out- check out their online menu and call ahead. This restaurant is so good that you will probably have to wait 20-40 minutes for your takeout order. But isn’t everything worthwhile & quality waiting for?
This place is a MUST VISIT for all Calgarians and visitors alike. You won’t be disappointed.

It is family friendly, so that is a plus.
The portions are large and filling.
I like that they can accommodate requests and mix your favorite sauce with a different pasta shape. I like the Linguini Campesino.
The service is fast and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Spaghetti, lot of choices for Pasta, Pizza, plus other foods. I enjoyed the Spaghetti Napolitano, my queen the lasagna . Parking was nearby, our waiter was pleasant, professional and knew his foods. He (Kevin) did not interrupt while we were eating. He also did not push to pay for meal as I have had in other places, all very casual.
