★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly unreliable. I've tried on three separate occasions to call for water taxi service from Chemainus to Thetis Island. Each time I'm handed a different excuse as to why the operator is unavailable. The reason is usually that the operator is asleep. In the middle of the day. Every time. I also tried last night for a fourth time to get to Thetis using this service. It was 10pm and there is a sign posted on Thetis Island that the Chemainus water taxi is a 24 hour service. Not the case. The operator had conveniently just gone to bed after it was relayed that the ride was only for two people.
Don't waste your minutes calling them, they literally don't care about customer service or operating this business properly. I imagine the only time I'll ever use them is when it's free on occasions that the ferry isn't running.
