β β β β β Bump update Dec 2021 because Google told me to: I still regularly go to this chatime, it's still the best.
This is literally the only chatime in greater Vancouver I still like going to, mainly because all the other locations have abandoned one of my favourite drinks: the lychee yogurt QQ. Please never get rid of that menu item plz it's so important to me
Additionally, whenever I ask for regular/less ice, while most other chatimes just end up having the lesser amount of ice melt in your drink (making the drink watery - once I thought they actually did this and they just ended up forgetting to add ice and offered to remake it if it still wasn't good), this location actually shakes and chills their drink before pouring it out.
Staff are friendly and hard-working from my end + compared to the other chatimes they're all much more helpful, honestly no clue what is with the bad reviews here. Maybe I'm just lucky but I guess I just luv this chatime too much.

β β β β β Based on my ordering experience, this is the feedback I want to share with you.
-Staff are Mandarin speakers, I found their staff sometimes attentive and look stressed.
I guess they really hate these jobs and they have no other skills to find better jobs.
-Their prices aren't really cheap but this store has some good selections of drinks and you can receive 10% off when you order a drink at the store.
-You cannot use chatime social tea app to collect and redeem points at this location.
-You can use free public street parking if you come by car and a customer washroom is available.
-It's easier to speak to staff in Mandarin because they might not communicate in good English when I request a customized drink.

β β β β β Chatime is a bubble tea place with very clear pros and cons. It definitely offers a larger menu when compared to other bubble tea places in the city, but with more options, there is the problem of certain items tasting too similar. I personally enjoy their milk-based drinks much more than fruit-based ones, mostly because they use high quality milk but not fresh fruit. With that said, however, most of the drinks are well-worth the friendly price.
(Edit: Chatime does have a seasonal menu with unique drinks worth checking out, which deserves credit.)

β β β β β This is comfortable, unique and clean beverage store. Nice place to spend your afternoon and evening time. Staffs are very nice, good customer service. Also they have a lot of free parking. A lot of drink choices!!! Love the grass jelly roast milk teaο½I will try a new flavor next time.

β β β β β I tried emailing the owner 6 days ago, but they didn't reply so I guess I will post this here.
The last 3 times my fiancΓ© has ordered bubble tea and brought it home, it has been made improperly. He always orders Banana Milk Tea with 0% sweetness with pearls. The first time, it was extremely sweet and almost undrinkable. The second and third time (from today), they didnβt even make banana milk tea. Iβm not even sure what it really is but the second time, I think it was just plain milk tea. This time, it almost tastes like Lychee or some kind of sour flavor. Iβve attached a picture just to show that it does not look like a milk tea. We have thought about going back and asking the workers to make a new one, but we are both busy students and did not want to have to drive 15 mins back to do that. I am just hoping that the owner can talk to their workers so they are more careful making the drinks as we really used to love the bubble tea (except for the last 3 times...).

β β β β β Consistent good quality, similar to other branches of the chain; you always know what to expect going to a Chatime. A point of frustration though is the paper straws; theyβre not sharp enough to cleanly puncture the plastic top, so itβs easy to have the straw bounce off, or create a large unintended hole and a potential splash when you try harder to insert the straw. May have to remind myself to bring something to pre-puncture the top to then insert the straw afterwards.

I normally never write any reviews but this roasted milk tea 50% sugar less ice tasted like 120% sugar and made me super upset. Drinking this felt like it would kill me with how sugary this tasted. I called the store asking them why was it this sweet as in the past (in the summer) 50% sugar was not this sweet. I was simply told that they follow the recipe. To me, it feels like the staff won't admit their mistake as this was for sure NOT 50% sugar, but instead 100% sugar.. I had to go home to dilute this with milk/water so it won't be as sweet.
Extremely disappointed. Never coming back. Horrible customer service too.
NEVER COME TO THIS CHATIME LOCATION. You have been warned.
