β β β β β Got a problem with the tailor. Very condescending and non respectful. Didnβt even pick up my order because she screwed up and didnβt wanna take the effort to make it better but instead blamed me on it. Very unprofessional. Will never go there again.

β β β β β This store is owned by lovely and talented individuals, as they were able to tailor my old dress pants in time for my interviews/meetings. Although I have little to no experiences with other tailors, I felt that the price was very reasonable for hemming + taper.

β β β β β The tailoring work was great. No complaints there. My complaint is with the tailor. She asked if I spoke Cantonese/Mandarin. I said yes, and I guess she got too comfortable with me and started getting buddy-buddy, judgmental, and condescending. Telling me if I wanted the various alterations then I should have just purchased a dress like that. I also wanted to add a side slit to the dress and she thought it was tasteless and too revealing. I asked for a slit just right at my knees!
I just didnβt appreciate the awkward one-sided banter. I couldnβt wait to get out of there. She reminded me of an extremely judgmental and nosy mother. Just donβt get friendly with them and I think youβll be spared the embarrassment.
