The staff is so friendly and helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond. The food is also amazing! She really enjoyed her time there, and made many new friends. She was not ready to leave!!! Amazing facility for elderly and senior private care.

Ryan Chalupa and his Health and Wellness Team are fantastic. They have been easy to communicate with when the need arises. My siblings and I are comforted in knowing that our parents are being looked after so well!

They are professional but at the same time kind, thoughtful and full of fun. The food is delicious and there are always plenty of choices. The decor is warm and inviting while being well maintained and spotless. Mom’s 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and beautiful. All in all, we think Chartwell Riverside and the staff deserve 5 stars!

Stacey took the time to provide a virtual tour and then 2 additional physical tours to ensure that my mother was comfortable with her decision. My mother narrowed down her choices to two and she ultimately selected Chartwell Riverside because of the types of activities that were offered that aligned with her interests. Mom raves about the meals - an amazing chef, she enjoys the variety of activities that are offered to stimulate the mind, and the walking path around the residence with its lush lawns, gardens, and beautiful Fall colours. Our father-in-law stayed here 10 years ago, and we have now returned with my mother. The standard of care and welcoming team has not changed - it is still amazing! Mom is settling in and the staff at Riverside are getting to know her. As a family, we have the peace of mind that our mother is safe and truly feels a part of a community. Thank you to the Riverside team for respecting my mother’s stage in life – having to make the decision to have my father admitted to long-term care and at the same time figuring out her own needs all during Covid. The Riverside team displayed patience, respect and understanding which was greatly appreciated by our family. Special thanks to Stacey and Elaine for keeping an eye on Mom during this transition!

We feel assured that Mom & Dad are safe, secure and well cared for, especially in these challenging COVID-19 times. We can't say enough about the team. Everyone from front-line staff to leadership treats us like family. Communication is a strength and any small issues that may arise from time to time are are addressed to our satisfaction in a timely manner. During Covid-19 they have taken even more amazing care (if that is even possible) of the residents and they ensured family members were kept up to date on a regular basis. Knowing our mum is in such good care, in a home that provides tasty and nutritional meals, wellness oversight and interesting and fun activities, we have never doubted the decision of choosing Chartwell Riverside.
