A	Al Thompson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had our first experience at this beautiful hidden gem last night and will definitely be going back soon. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly friendly. One of the nicest restaurants in the London area!!!!
S	Steven Ataman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blackfriars Bistro assisted with the catering for our wedding and did not disappoint with their typical delicious food and attention to detail, including the appetizers, salad and dinner. Their baker even made our cake which not only made things easier for us but was absolutely delicious and unique to our personal taste preference! The consultation process was a little bit hectic but I think this can easily be chalked up to a very busy time with many events and reopening post-COVID. The onsite servers, especially Cathy, were professional, prompt and thoughtful, taking charge to ensure things went very smoothly. Our food was well prepared even though we were running slightly behind schedule and the chef was working in our home kitchen. Thank you all!

The decor resembles an outdoor cafe but indoors, with white garden-style mosaic tables and chairs. The art work is contemporary and certainly a focal point. Service is slow. We struggled to get out in under two hours and tables are very close together. If you love eavesdropping, this is the spot for you. Though slow, staff is friendly and overall it was a nice experience. Lunch for two with a glass of wine each with tip was $80+

We asked that the dressing be put on the side but the server said the dressing that they put on the salad was just a little. So we both said that would be ok. When the salads did arrive the dressing was VERY heavy. We both complained. The server did apologize but there was no compensation on our bill. The server said the chef must have had a heavy hand.

They gave us great recommendations, chatted casually with us when appropriate and were very efficient. This bistro has such a cozy family vibe to it but with some 5-star food offerings.
