It was so bad... The students are kind and trying to do their best while their teacher or boss or whatever is so rude!!! Butter chicken was burned... The naans were burned and has black mark on it... Basically wasn't desirable experince at all.

The Butchers Burger 8/10. Easily in the top 10 burgers in London. Im not sure how I feel about the sweet spread on the bottom bun and all the leaf lettuce. Otherwise very tasty and cooked well.

I did not know what to expect for my first visit -- it was a nice surprise. A fairly large and well decorated room with a large staff who were very attentive and intent to please. The spacious kitchen was visible through a large window indicating a remarkably modern working environment. But this is a training school constantly supervised by experienced teachers ... and it was quite visible. The waiting staff were very sensitive about giving the best service, but some minor mistakes were always present, but none interrupted the enjoyment of the meal. I ordered the Sweet Potato Fritters appetizer, the beer battered Pickerel entree, and the Creme Brulee dessert. Each plate was cooked and plated perfectly, even though three sweet potato balls was too much for an appetizer, and using kale for an experimental slaw was a mistake for me personally. The Creme Brulee was perfect. The minor mistakes were; (a) my sweet potato surprise was met with an overreacting server suggesting returning it, unnecessarily, to the kitchen; (b) The wine was served in an unknown quantity; (c) The pickerel was delivered with the server instantly offering fresh ground pepper ... before I had even picked up the knife and fork -- I really hate having to ask, humourlesssly, "Would that be acceptable with the chef?" It was difficult reviewing a training school and had it been non-training the enjoyment may have been illustrated by the tip (For want of a better method). Suffice to say that I hope to become a regular patron.

Amazing food, but please read. You have to know what you're getting yourself into. It's a training restaurant for both the chefs and the wait staff. I loved the food...but the service was entertaining. They make mistakes because they're learning...and that's part of the experience. If this will bother you then I would avoid, but if your okay with a service that will make a few mistakes I would highly recommend. They're trying their best and thats what counts. I loved it!

So I'm told the chefs are students of Fanshawe. I'm not sure but you can tell from the picture, the presentation was good. The taste was fantastic. I got a caesar salad, and butchers burger. The salad like the burger had nice thick well cooked bacon. I would change nothing.

I love coming here. Food is always excellent. And we’ll presented. Student servers are friendly, attentive and engaging. Atmosphere is choice for date nights and business lunches. Thanks for the great work the team does here!
