S	Shushmita Das on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked this place as it has really good hours of operation on most of the days. So you wouldn't have to worry about not finding a last minute grocery needs, since it's open till 10pm. I really love the bakery items available there, buttered croissants being my favorites. The only thing that I would like to bring to your attention is that, during payment, they charge you extra for using your credit card. Debit and cash is payments are fine. And you may not always find everything in there. But overall, it's a great, welcoming place with friendly staff.

New owners equals a better establishment..i think owners wife who serves dry overrated Butter Tarts may be the cause of his bad moods..dont blame him!!

T	Tanaya Matchett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection for a small grocery store and I love that they offer delivery as an option, but it does bother me that two years into the pandemic, they don't have hand sanitizer for use when you go in. It's a really small thing but it bothers me whenever I go. I've also seen misinformation newspapers available in store, and most employees don't seem to wear masks. It's good in a pinch, but otherwise I've stopped going. Also prices are higher than other grocery stores- lower than the upcharge at Shoppers Drugmart, but higher than usual.
E	Elizabeth Beaney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some employees stopped wearing masks during January 2022 during the Omicron wave, and told us that we were "living in fear" and that my roommate's parents, who both have covid and are immuno-compromised, are "sick with something else". Tall blond older woman is a raging a-hole who called me insane for caring about other people, you know, not DYING. Will never go back until this is resolved.

My boyfriend and I came in and while browsing, somebody we knew asked us for 50 cents and instantly the girl with the glasses behind the deli counter piped up telling him not to be soliciting. I have never seen this in my life.. I have been short of a few cents myself and had to ask the person behind me before if they might have a few cents.. almost always the person was more than happy to help. I felt uncomfortable like the girl didn't want the guy to be able to buy his drink.. was it because he was homeless? It shouldn't matter if a person needs help and I am willing to help, I will help. That is the thing to do.. His life is hard enough. Near the end of it, my boyfriend made a comment about helping somebody in need and the girl looked at us and asked, "what?" As if it mattered whether we knew him or not.. Which we did. We would have given anyone 50 cents anyways. That is not soliciting. He wasn't going around asking for money, he just didn't have enough for his drink.. Please don't do this to somebody again, it is embarassing. I have been in his position.. It's not nice. I'll be back for more delicious potato salad though! Thank you.
