I bought an Appleton ham from them I paid $61.35 and the exact same product/size is available at another West Indian grocery store for under $45.
Be sure to check around before you buy specialty items from them.

Got some xmas foods and meat to make.
We didn't go to Charlie's but went to the halal place beside it.there was no lone,line, was cold so my mom didn't want to wait in the Charlie's line. But I love Charlie's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This spot has a lot to offer in such a small space. So if you’re looking for hard to find peppers or fruit, spices and other Caribbean specialties, you’ll likely find it here. Don’t grab any tamarind though; it’s kept on the bottom shelf a little too close to the floor.

Fresh meats and fish.
Cashiers are hardworking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really love Charlie's, by my goshhh the cashiers are so miserable and no customer service at all. They act as if they don't want to be there. Other than that the products are fresh. Haven't had a bad experience with anything purchased. Dear cashier . Smile a little. You won't die from a smile. And if a customer says "thank you" You can actually say you're welcome back.

I would love to see the store updated to accommodate the growth in population, and demands in modern times; when it's busy, it can be really cramped. There's a love for Charlie's that's unmatched due to its history, and the friendly, family based staff. When people immigrated from the West Indies, there weren't any stores providing the produce or products one is used to having back in their country, Charlie's answered the need, and is still doing so.

You just go in get what you need and head out. Their produce is always fresh and their fish is fresh. Give them a try for your West Indian Grocery needs
