โ โ โ โ โ A woman working here at the counter tried to intentionally mislead me into buying the wrong cinnamon! She tried to sell me regular, cassia cinnamon as ceylon cinnamon! She insisted that it was simply a different part of the tree, a different cut, and that's why it looked different. She sniffing the cinnamon, saying "mmm, smells so good" to try to get me to buy it. At the time, I was going by what I read on the internet.
I wasn't sure it wasn't Ceylon cinnamon and almost did buy it, and she seemed nice enough that I wouldn't think she'd outright lie to me like that. The store does sell ground Ceylon cinnamon, but the container was empty, so she definitely would've known what it actually smells like.
But now, having actually bought, smelled, and tasted Ceylon Cinnamon, what she was selling me was DEFINITELY not Ceylon Cinnamon. It smells entirely different.
She was clearly trying to deceive me. I rarely leave negative reviews, as I've worked in customer service myself, but this time I have to protect others.
I can't recommend this store to people.

This man has been doing this for decades he is highly educated very knowledgeable in holistic care and I am holistic practitioner myself. I could only wish one day I am as knowledgeable and as experienced as this man. It'll be a sad day when he leaves. I can't say enough. incredible knowledge, compassion.empathy and healthcare. he doesn't know I'm writing this I'm not getting paid to do this. He doesn't know me by my first or last name, he knows me by my middle only. .this is for the people of Mississauga. I've lived here for 50 years I love this city and I love the people in the city this is the go to place for healthcare. Believe me!! People who know me all the way back to elementary school to this day , know my word is golden. In truth, trust & honesty - yours sincerely Danny Asal.
