D	Deborah Good on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been a Chancellor Court resident for about 7 years, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The apartments are spacious, the location is unbeatable for access to UBC, and I’ve had great experiences with the management. When I had a pipe leak all over my floor, a couple years ago they had plumbers and big fans out within 2 hours. When my heat broke, they brought up a space heater right away while they waited on the tech. That might sound basic, but for Vancouver landlords, it’s definitely not. The neighborhood can be a little noisy, but that’s par for the course on campus. The buildings themselves are generally very quiet, particularly between floors, and have a nice assortment of students, families, and seniors. The Ross House elevators were my biggest complaint, but I haven’t had any issues since the recent update. Overall, a hearty recommendation!

Erick especially has been very helpful, every time I had any issue, anywhere in the suite. Thank you to Tom and Haylee for the smooth onboarding experience as well.

The prices are very reasonable compared to other residences of this caliber (believe me I have shopped around a lot for places to live on UBC, this beats all of them by far). They have an awesome gym and indoor pool/hottub available to tenants, and the management is very friendly and helpful!
S	Susan D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t say enough good things about the Chancellor Court apartment complex at UBC (McKenzie House & Ross House)! I have been very happy to call this home for 13 years and am very sorry to be leaving, but it is time to move on. The buildings are very well run. Austeville Properties is continually upgrading the buildings, and the onsite management team keeps everything running smoothly – but they are not only efficient but also very friendly, and they go out of their way to be helpful. John, in particular, made this place feel like a family home! I lived in 2 different suites, and both had great closet space, lots of light, and beautiful views of the mountains. There is a nice mix of families, seniors, professionals, and students, and I found everyone polite and friendly. I found the building very quiet. Occasionally there is some noise in the neighborhood, but generally just at the beginning and end of the university terms, but I am happy that the students are here and working towards building a better society through higher education (so they deserve to celebrate once in a while). A big thank you and good-bye to John, Erick, Haylee and Tom. You have all been great!

Smallest of issues are dealt with lightning speed! Tom (the manager) is always super nice and always asking if everything is okay. Haylee is always on top of things and makes any kind of paperwork super duper easy. Erik comes in to fix the smallest of issues within minutes of me calling/emailing and you can tell that he really cares because he will point out things that even I don't notice, and then fix them! The rent is more than reasonable for the area. Overall, the whole management team treats me like family and by far the has been the best rental experience ever! Thank you guys!

Erick especially has been stellar in helping out with any maintenance issues in my apartment, and he’s super fun to talk to as well! All in all, I love the building’s amenities (I use the gym daily & the indoor pool as a fun treat on the weekends) and it’s location to various restaurants, grocery stores, post office and medical clinic is unbeatable. Hands down it’s a 5 stars for me. Also, can I add that the scenery of my place is mind blowing. It’s been 2 years of me living here, and I’m still in love with it.
