โ โ โ โ โ Visit our son UBC student frequently. We stayed at TRIUMF House for the past four times. The place is clean. Rooms are comfortable.
Staffs work hard and very helpful. I feel like at home.

โ โ โ โ โ Quiet, extremely convenient while visiting UBC. Communal kitchen well stocked with everything you need (except food stuffs). Espresso and organic teas always available. Gym in the basement is small, but not busy.

โ โ โ โ โ Clean, affordable short stay accommodation with fine kitchen and common areas, as well as parking (limited). Excellent for hospital visits as well as parents visiting attending students. Hosts kind and patient.

โ โ โ โ โ Traditionally housing for visiting scientists doing experiments at TRIUMF, this tidy and functional lodging has become a popular accommodation for UBC guests as well. As the price suggests, it's not a luxury hotel, but it has all the amenities you really need and is well run. Particularly nice for Owl Shifts, and since there are always a few of those there, quiet at all hours -- please don't be noisy!

โ โ โ โ โ Good place to stay if you need to stay close to UBC. It's a boutique hotel right next to a small wooded area so generally very quiet. Fast food restaurants are walking distance away. There is a shared kitchen at the hotel where you can cook your own meals. The kitchen is well stocked with ultensils.

โ โ โ โ โ Very affordable, rooms were simple and clean. Keep in mind that check in is only available between 3 and 6:30, which gave us some trouble with the timing of our flights. There was no iron in the room we had. Overall service was OK, and the room suited our needs.

โ โ โ โ โ After hours check in very easy. Rooms clean and comfortable and quiet despite a busy road with bus stop within eyesight. Front door and parking garage on quiet side of the hotel. If you need parking remember to request it at the time of your booking. Staff was very pleasant.
Easy walking distance to UBC hospital, the primary reason for our stay. As well easy walking distance to various restaurants both north and south of the hotel's location.
