★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rating is only for their Property Management group. In fact, if there was an option to give less than 1 star, then that is what this group deserves. The worst service I received as a landlord. They make you sign the agreement promising a great service but in my opinion, C21 does not know the meaning of the word “customer service“.
There are way too many details to discuss and tell, but I don’t want this post to be about my rant. I prefer to provide my opinion and if I can give someone a suggestion - STAY AWAY from these folks and save your money.
Poor communication; you can continue sending emails, messages, calls and follow up reminders, but they do not bother to respond, after you have signed the agreement.
Biased Approach; services are biased towards the tenant. While leasing out my unit I was charged for everything under the sun, kicker - 2 months into the lease, they charged me for fridge cleaning, to which I did not object, hoping I would be returned the unit in same/similar condition. The pictures I saw of the unit, after the end of tenancy, and repeatedly being assured by C21 that they have had it professionally cleaned after move out, was appalling. I had to further send professional cleaners to clean the unit and pay extra from my own pocket. I know what you might be thinking, but good luck with requesting anything from security deposit.
P.S- I have been a landlord for over 15 yrs and having dealt with many Property management firms and tenants, and understand general wear and tear.
