Community Services (Calgary) is one of the ministry units of The Salvation Army that offers practical assistance for individuals and families plus provides shelter for people experiencing homelessness. We focus on nurturing the capacities, skills and strengths of individuals who are marginalized and overlooked, rather than just meet their needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great organization and center for men looking to get off the street and back on their feet. In my opinion it is the best shelter living conditions of them all. In addition to emergency shelter beds. Its the only ministry in Calgary that also offers its clients transitional rental dorms and private rooms. Their client resource specialists are very supportive and helpful. They work closely with Alberta works. And can help you with applying for social assistance. Employment and Career resources are available. Chaplain services for spiritual well being. And supports for those struggling with addiction and mental health. And last but not least. Extremely well priced breakfast, lunch and suppers from 2.50-4$ daily. This has most definitely been a center that has brought hope back into my in my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ atmosphere is pretty relaxed for a shelter. staff are very good with clients. there is a purpose with individual care and plan for every client to overcome whatever got them there. there is a sense of respect. most clients are middle aged. clean rooms. great food considering it's a shelter. all in all best shelter and emergency bed in calgary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Center of Hope is working with following goals, to great hope in helpless and provides services, keep individual privacy in tact, and steward ship. This center has got many other things and facilities to keep better living.
They have a computer lab to help client for applying job , and other computer uses by the clients.
I liked the facility.
I enjoy helping clients using computer lab.
I wish that one should visit this center.
