★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were super friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. It was in great central location, too. We would definitely stay again.
However, the only complaint is that the place is seriously overdue for upgrades and updates. You can definitely see that the building and rooms have seen better days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was friendly, check-in was a breeze , rooms were clean and spacious. The location was also good with stores and restaurants nearby. Would recommend. Only suggestion is the exterior needs a paint job to add to the charm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last minute, I mean very last minute, they came through, so impressed and appreciative of them! Karla (Carla) and Pal (Paul) were very understanding and courteous on the phone and in person. Solid customer service!
If travel arrangements and ferry issues ever harp on your family plans and bad timing of things just get silly, call for these two staffers. Family friendly all around! Plus they are just 10 mins from the Langdale ferry terminal.
London Drugs and Sunnycrest Mall, just right across the street. Seriously, what more to ask when it is your first time going to the Sushine Coast and you have a big family to accomodate, all last minute!?
Thank you Carla and Paul (sorry if I mispelled your names!) at Cedar Inn for making it work! Will be coming to stay with my family again when we visit the beautiful Sunshine Coast!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to switch rooms because the first room had bugs. They assured me that it wasn't bedbugs but I'm uncertain. The staff are very friendly and helpful though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The breakfast was the only good thing about this place. The room was badly remodelled. The baseboards were missing in some parts. There was dog hair on my pillow. There were bandaids all over my room… looked like they were used in place of tape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this is the go to motel in Gibsons. The parking lot is good-sized and the room was very nice and the hotel is in good repair for an old property but it is showing its age. Definitely looks like the property has been refreshed.
Service was good at sign in and the beds, I slept quite well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the hotel for a kids hockey team. The heated pool was great considering the February weather. There is an indoor meeting room and lots of outdoor hangout areas. Lots of nearby restaurants and entertainment. Michael at the front desk was fantastic in helping us get settled into the right room and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is pet friendly. We missed our ferry and were stuck with our little four legged baby with no plan B. We we greeted by friendly staff super nice but 184 dollars a night was a stretch for the accommodations as it was very dated. The bedding and towels were clean though. I am a bit of a princess though so please keep this in mind. If you want a basic place to stay and you have a pet this place will do in a pinch. I would rate the accommodations as accurate as it is rated 2 stars but feel the 2 star should be priced accordingly.
