Our Story

Since 1981, Cedarglen Homes has helped thousands of Calgarians build their dream homes. For over 40 years we have found that most homebuyers begin their home search by trying to resolve a problem they have in their current living situation. The amount of questions that we had for Reda in Livingston was insurmountable but each was answered diligently during our one year build process. Now that we have taken possession of the home I'd like make a special shout out to our Site Supervisor Reid who is very thorough and customer oriented. Even during our walkthroughs the suggestions Reid provided were worth acknowledging. From a quality and value perspective we are happy with Cedarglen's 'a la carte' approach to adding or eliminating upgrades to our home. This was our first build and overall a very pleasant experience that to during a pandemic. A few of the trades people such at Aero Plumber and Durabuilt Windows also provided great service.

Even our realtor was impressed. The construction and details throughout the house really make it standout. Even though the building process is done they are still available to help if anything is needed. If you're looking for a builder I highly recommend working with Cedarglen.
J	Jared Catto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second house built in Auburn Bay. Cedarglen fell very short of the standard set by our first builder. Long list of deficiencies, some not address at all, including appalling grading of lot. Cedarglen refused to meet land report and blamed developer. Paid $2000 to have corrected... Builder grade paint instead of upgraded paint we paid for (touched up very poorly), microwave cabinet 2" too shallow (4 months to correct, main floor sink rough in incorrect and when repaired leaked on on Friday of long weekend and did hear back till Tuesday (had to pay plumber to repair) etc, etc, etc...Attempted to mediate issue regarding grading with response team, management and finally new home warranty with no results. Funny all it would have take was regrading the mess they made and I would have had a completely different outlook of Cedarglen. Hopefully this is helpful before making one of the biggest decisions of you life.

No builder is perfect. Had a few communication problems from sales to design which wasn’t too much of a big deal. Our site supervisor Jason definately has made our experience way beyond expectations. If it wasn’t for him my review would be different.

It took longer than we thought, but we also did a custom floor plan that we both invested a lot of time on. May even be a new floor plan for Cedarglen it was so well received. The responsiveness was great from all members of the build and customer service team. Couple of our friends were building at the same time with other builders and little issues that their builder wouldn't take care of or address. For us, Cedarglen would do there best to accommodate requests and make sure everything was completed how we wished. All in all for us it was a good experience building with Cedarglen.

From Sales (Ryan C.) that took care of us to find the model and lot that we wanted, very responsive, helped us with the structure of our home and just gave us an excellent start that we are on good hands on building our home. It ended with our Site Supervisor (Tyler) that is just an awesome and honest guy. These two men helped us a lot building the perfect home for us and we can't thank them enough for the great service. All I can say is from the beginning with their sales team and Crystal was excellent and then the home building process with one of the most thorough supervisors in Earl.
