R	R G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words can't describe the bliss you feel when you are here. Some places seem expensive because they are, but some places are expensive and are worth every single penny !! This is the later. Book it for a couple of days and experience it yourself.

They give you unlimited access to their water activities, food is great, staff is very friendly and the people who stay there are friendly as well. Thank you for making our honeymoon special, Will be booking again %100 with our family next time.

S	Stephanie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING! My husband and I spent 4 nights at this beautiful place in the summer. Everything was perfect. The cottage was spotless. We stayed here for a few nights (in winter) a few years ago and finally got a chance to come back in the summer. We had a blast swimming and kayaking. We even went on a sunset cruise (which is included) which was beautiful. If you love hiking, it is only a 30 minute drive to Whiskey Rapids Trail in Algonquin Park. We were impressed with their Covid Protocols....they went above and beyond to keep everyone safe and we really appreciated that. The meals were so organized and even though the dining room is closed for now, we actually loved eating on our deck while looking at the lake. If you have a big appetite you will never be hungry here because the portions are big. Even with the Covid protocols, it did not take away from the magic of this place. We look forward to our next visit!

B	Barry Craven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed our winter getaway at CG. Our cabin was excellent and the meals were outstanding. Snowshoe trails provided some exercise in the cold conditions but the fireplace warmed is up. Our server was personable and efficient. Highly recommended any time.
B	Bob Benson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed 5 days over Christmas and it fit Covid restrictions well as we did take out for all our meals, only had housekeeping once, saw very few people out and about when we walked our dog. Food was very good with ample portions and lunch was not missed. Loved the wood burning fireplace and tall front window with great view. We were happy take out was an option but Negatives were the fact we had to go pick up all our meals which were not very hot by the time we got them back to cabin and the roads were slippery walking. They picked up the dirty utensils and garbage next day but I would rather have returned that and had meals delivered instead. Stairs and roads were very slippery early mornings as well as staff came later with sand. Also very expensive ($2700.00 for 5 days) considering really very few services but as always you pay twice as much over Christmas and weekends. I would try the Sunday- Friday special rate next time. Did appreciate having somewhere to safely go and with our dog over Christmas, thank you Cedar Grove. The lovely Christmas present was a nice touch too, thanks.
J	John Devries on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lodge was excellent in every aspect. I very rarely give a 5 star rating but this place is well deserving. The cottages are in great shape. The beds are very comfortable and clean. They even change the top cover every time as well as the shower curtain!. The hot water was very hot with lots of pressure which makes for a great shower. We had a wood burning fireplace and the firewood was excellent. We never had to worry about running out of it. All the walkways were cleaned and sanded very quickly after a snowfall. All the meals were worthy of a 5 star rating. The portions are large and I am a big eater. We went during covid so the lodge was closed for dinning but it looked so inviting I can't wait to go back when you can dine in. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The trails for walking, skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing were very well marked and in great shape. The ice rink on the lake was well maintained. This lodge is a gem!!
