★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When it was called moose bay, it was an excellent place to swim along with our friends from boarding school. It was my happy place, for some odd reason it was serene....all my troubles floated away.... Rest in Peace, Mr. Skotheim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a disappointing experience related to renting some watercraft from the store which otherwise appeared to be well-stocked with typical supplies at reasonable prices. The community is quiet and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cedar cove is boring. There is nothing to do there the resturant is not big and limited food. They r shut down over winter fall and spring leaving it open for barely 2 months of the year. Not really worth even talking about. Ketepewa beach restaurant is a lot better open all year. Liqure and Off sale a plus for some people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bring your own firewood for short stays. Smallest bundle the store sells is $70. Beach is very small. I would recommend Crooked lake provincial park. It is very close and very beautiful. Lakeside camping sites available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has gone really downhill. Used to be a beautiful camping spot with activities for kids and everything. Now has campers so close together with no space. Kids activities all gone. And store really over priced. Really glad we knew sunset beach had a store. Was so disappointed going back and seeing the major changes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny lots with barely any trees, completely unkept beachfront. Decent store but with some strange omissions, everything you need to bake a cake but they don't stock marshmallows? I have fond memories of this place as a child, it appears everything fun has been removed.
