The resort is extremely clean, ALL staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating, the resort is mainly permanent residents who welcomed our family into their community going out of their way to gets my kids involved in daily programming. I would highly recommend this resort and will return in the near future

Their website also doesn't say pool, store and office closes at 6 pm, starting Sept. 01...had we known the above, we wouldn't have paid $275 night. False advertising in my opinion. The cottage itself was very nice but the beds were very uncomfortable, they need to upgrade the old thin foam mattresses. The pool was nice, heated so it was comfortable but again, closed at 6 pm which did not like at all. The waterfront cottage was okay, situated in a bay with lots of seaweed so couldn't really fish off the dock. The lakes and rivers nearby were endless and the small towns nearby were beautiful. We would go again but would not pay that much per night.

A	Amisha Gupta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited a friend’s cottage at woodland estate resort. The resort is nice and the cottage we stayed was really beautiful , clean and spacious. Waterfront access made it really desirable. All the neighbours seemed nice and friendly. Interaction with staff was good too and they seemed helpful. Overall felt quiet and peaceful over there at thanksgiving long weekend.
S	Stephanie Miller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fun time at the resort. The cabin was clean and had the basics. Everything is close and we felt that the kids could really enjoy it. The snack shop was decent and had reasonable prices compared to most. The staff were all nice and helpful. The wifi isn't great if you need it. You are better to just use your own data. It is small but makes for a nice weekend.
G	Graceless Kelly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just spend a few days here and am happy to write them a positive review :) In spite of the bad weather, I still appreciated everything the staff does to make people feel welcome, including little goodie bags when I entered with toiletries and stuff in case I forgot! I overheard a staff member educating kids on poison ivy, and there were no parents or advisors around so he was genuinely looking out for them. I also had a member check in to see how I was doing the second day, and the resort manager even called when I left to make sure I had enjoyed my stay :) All of this makes up for minor things worth noting about the cottages themselves - there's no outlet in the main bedroom, you can't open any of the blinds so it's a bit dark, and oddly there's no blinds on the front door which is kind of creepy at night. Otherwise, they were very clean and functional and I'll be happy to return to this, resort hopefully soon!
M	Michael Chai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical cottage experience. This facility requires maintenance. Examples include all pool umbrellas are broken and pool handle rail is cracked. Kayaks had tapped up/dented paddles and missing foot holds. The cottage we rented had an enclosed screen room but it was between the BBQ and fire pit, which meant that people in the room would be inhaling smoke. In other cottages the BBQ and fire pit were on the same side and a distance from the screen room. Anyway, the staff were friendly and the beach area was nice. Overall, a good experience, with a little maintenance this would be a great place.

We travelled with our 10 month old so it was crucial it had the space. Everything was in perfect working condition. The staff were friendly and would ask if we needed anything anytime we walked by. The city is only a 9 minute drive. We had a fantastic time here.
