โ โ โ โ โ Quick stop for the Via Rail train, plying the Toronto-Vancouver route. There are no restaurants in this stop, only toilets and a drinking fountain. Was great to step out of the train and do some stretching after a night of non-stop train travel.

โ โ โ โ โ Wonderful cross country experience. Excellent staff and food. -1 star because some of the cars on our train hadn't been through the refurbishment process and were rough riding and kind of threadbare on the inside.

โ โ โ โ โ I took the train from BC to Ontario. Boy was it a long ride in only a chair. It wasn't too bad. Pretty much what I expected. However we arrived 6 hours late. This was mostly caused but the multiple waits as freight trains passed. I didn't realize how many waits there actually were.
Staff were nice.... kind of hit or miss really. I ate once in the dining cart. Pricy but the food was good.

โ โ โ โ โ Tendency for the cross-country train to be late by a few hours. Don't take the train as a primary means of transportation if you mind spending a few days getting there. But the company is delightful, as is the service and the food. And the sleeping accommodations are cozy; don't bring a big suitcase on board, follow basic airplane carry-on logic and you'll have lots of space

โ โ โ โ โ Took Canadian Rockies Trip. Next time taking my son's. A must see for Canadians as well as tourists. Gourmet meals, sleeper car comfortable, wonderful staff.
