Not only are they fairly quick they give me a complementary rinse too.
Make sure to make an appointment as they can be busy at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am from out of town and booked an appointment at Cathay a week in advance of a wedding I was travelling for. I picked Cathay based on its location and reviews of people I know in the area. When I arrived I waited 15 mins past my appointment time and my hairdresser wasn't sure he could give me the straight iron curls I wanted because my hair is so thick, which I have never heard before. After washing my hair he seemed to think it would be okay to curl. I was amazed at how fast and experienced he was at curling. I was in and out of the salon within an hour and very happy with my hair. I was most happy when I saw the price of approximately $18! Despite the no-frills service, I was blown away by this price point. I definitely will return if I am in the area. If you are looking to get your hair curled ask for Raymond.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best hairdressers in town in my opinion. They have over 20 years experience each. They can give their opinion if asked, which is often hard to find. The price is reasonable. I can't say enough about them. I'm always getting compliments on my haircuts and my highlights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to Cathay for well over 10 years...didn't know I never reviewed them until Google told me so. The brothers who run the shop are great. Very personable. If you're a 1st gen CBC like myself...you may even find yourself enjoying the Asian radio station playing memorable songs your parents likely sang karaoke to. Appointments recommended but reasonable walk-in depending on day.
