★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a great park, the playground is huge and i love that there was a spraypark and skate park right here too. Downside was that the bathrooms were supposed to be open today and they were not. We called 311 and they said they were going to send someone to open them. We were there all day and no one came. It was very frustrating to constantly have to drive offsite to find bathrooms for myself, a pregnant lady, and multiple small children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really like this gem we visited on March 21st. They have a shelter on the middle. The kids playground has turf instead of sand. And there is a space for skateboarding as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found Castle Downs Park, previously unknown to me, to be a treasure. I have lived in the Castledowns area for over three decades and until a few days ago had no idea it existed. But it will become a regular part of my daily-walk routine. The paths are easy to walk, are nice and wide, well-maintained, and provide a variety of possible walks. Definitely my new favourite destination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is awesome. The spraypad/dry park combo with the sand pit too. My kids could play here every day, all day and never get tired. Really busy though, especially on hit days. Not a ton of benches, but lots of grassy areas so bring a big towel or blanket to sit and watch the kids play.
