★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used Carol Baker Visage, Upper Canada Mall for both my daughters ear piercing. Both times the lovely techs doing the piercing were kind, professional and very gentle with my 3 month old babies. I can’t say how much I appreciate how sweet they were with babies. The owner, Kavita, is also amazing. She was quick to help and answer all my questions and concerns. In addition, years ago, I used to come personally to have my brows waxed weekly (yes they were that bad!) In the time I came I only had a couple techs because the ladies who worked there loved it! Having the same tech for such a long time really guaranteed me perfect brows. I’ve also used them for skin care and other services and loved it all. I highly recommend Visage Newmarket for all your self care needs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did ear piercing in January but it was not healed properly… I went to a piercing shop last weekend to fix it as the earrings are too short for me. Also, the cleaning solution I got is not sealed. I feel quite uncomfortable about that as it might be returned by someone. Though the lady did my piercing was super nice, I suggest you pay close attention after first 6 weeks of cleaning and make sure it’s fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going to this location for years and never had an issue until recently. I've always noticed the owner or manager (not sure of her title but she is at the store regularly and is usually telling other staff what to do, she's usually behind the counter) has been disrespectful to staff and customers but I've never had to deal with her personally but honestly once I did I'm never coming back to this place. This woman is disrespectful and never speaks to people in a kind manner, it always sounds like she's annoyed and doesn't want to deal with you. Why are you the manager/owner if you can't at least speak kindly to people and not belittle them and make you look like you're a terrible person in front of others. Especially over matters that aren't that big of a deal. Not only does she speak to customers this way but also her own EMPLOYEES as I've witnessed it myself. She speaks to them like they're her peasants and honestly I never want to see this woman again or step back into the store after treating me with such disrespect. Her attitudes disgusting and her tone is like she's talking to you like a child. Beware of this location unless you're looking to be belittled. If you're reading this check your attitude with customers, and treat people the way YOU'D want to be treated. I wish someone would show you how you treat others to yourself because I doubt you'd want to be treated that way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday, I came in and felt like every one was rushing. Yes, I know it was a Friday but if they are offering beauty services, the staff should be very gentle and careful when doing it. After getting an HD brow, I felt a stinging sensation on my skin. I told the staff who did my brows so she applied aloe gel but did not even tell me that I have a skin tear on my right eyelid. Probably either because she was in a hurry to assist another client and was not paying attention or just did not want to tell me at all. I realized that my skin was damaged 5 minutes after I left as I was feeling pain on the affected area. I was in a hurry to go home so I was not able to file a complain in person. I’m so disappointed because I went there to pamper myself, look pretty after a long week of hard work and this is what I get for $40+. Now, I’m scared to get my brows done in this location again. *please see attached photo via google maps, Idk why its not showing here. *
PS. I don’t have a sensitive skin. This is the first time I experienced this because of rough and careless service. Skin damage looks even worst in person ;(
