I have never been more disgusted then the comments from Jul... I have never ever had a bad experience with any of the staff and if it wasn't for Mirella's suggestion to change up my style with "going short" i would still be going to the other hairdresser in Newmarket who obviously didn't care what style i had. Just look at other reviews below and judge on their outstanding remarks NOT one disturbing individual's ability to belittle such remarkable staff.

I have been coming to Hair point for a few years now and have been enjoying the experience continuously. Quinn is my hairdresser and she knows not only how to cut - my ridiculously straight hair with wacky cowlicks- but can also do a rock'in colour! When people actually ask you for a hair reference- you know it's a good job. Needing an emergency repair job on my "coif"- or should I say I need a colour and cut pronto...as my life is not happy when I do not have happy hair. Tracy O'Brien, Designs by O'Brien

Hair Pointe is an amazing salon with outstanding employees! I have been going to this salon for years and have always come out happy! Mirella owner and stylist is amazing! She is super talented and a wonderful person! I highly recommend this salon to anyone, 5 plus bight shining stars from me!!

As a customer of Hair Point for many years I find myself compelled to weigh in on the Review that Julxoxo has posted. I was in the Salon and witnessed everything that happened and the writer of the review is telling her side of the story and putting a spin on it that simply is not true. The issue with the customer was that she was asking for something that the stylists felt was not going to work the way she was hoping. Due to the present colours in her hair and the new colour she wanted the stylist felt it was not attainable and made other suggestions. The customer was adamant about trying it so the stylist started to do what she wanted. Early on in the process it was clear it wasn't working and as any of us would do the customer got very upset about her hair and the colour situation. The stylist brought in the owner to help to see what would the best solution be to get the customers hair to the colour she wanted and the customer started blaming the stylist for the situation as she was very upset and didn't know what to do. The Owner and stylist offered a few options to try to meet the customers goal but she was too upset and just wanted to leave. I think the review is extremely unfair as the Owner and stylist tried everything they could to help the customer but the customer did not want to take responsibility for the situation and was too upset to listen to the possible solutions that would get her the colour she was looking for. The service and the people at Hair Point are beyond reproach and every customer I've ever seen there is happy with how they are treated. This one situation is just about a colour issue that didn't go as the customer had hoped because she didn't take the advice of the stylist at the beginning. I feel for her because I know how important hair is to a person but this was not Hair Points fault in any way.

I've been getting my hair cut by Matteo for about 15 years now. Matteo does a great job and is just an all around fantastic guy. It's always a pleasure visiting his shop, everyone is very friendly. Matteo has been cutting my son's hair as well, since he was 3 yrs old.

Matteo is the best. Best haircuts I've ever had. My sons have all gone to him and now I do too. He is a terrific guy and runs a great business. Always on time, skilled and professional. He works hard and creates a great atmosphere for his customers. Feel very confident coming to see Matteo!

My now husband and I got married recently and I knew he needed to get his hair properly cut and styled by someone high end, as everywhere he has tried previously has not done him any justice (he has REALLY thick hair). I remembered Matt from Hair Point when I was younger and knew he had opened Studio Matteo and immediately called him. He did the most AMAZING job, my husbands hair looked so incredible for our wedding day and even as it grows back I have never seen his hair look this good. We will only be going here from now on.

Christine is the reason I love my hair! She pays attention to every detail and always makes sure I leave with a smile on my face. Not only do I love the result, but I love every minute spent there. Excellent environment, full of amazing people. I highly recommend seeing Christine for your next hair appointment :)
