Meet the Staff

 Terry Galbraith:

Terry Galbraith is the owner and operator of Carriage House Florists, which is currently entering its 22nd year of business. He has over 43 years experience in the floral industry ranging from the grower level, wholesale/distributor and retail level. He holds a Commercial Floriculture Certificate from Olds College (Olds, AB) as well as a Beginners Certificate from the Ohara School of Ikebana, Toyko Japan. He has completed three of the five levels in a National Accreditation Program from Flowers Canada, a national industry standardization exam. He has participated in many industry design presentations including being a part of a design team that hosted National Flowers Canada Convention, here in Saskatchewan. He has helped co-ordinate floral decorations for other large events including the Labatt Briar, many special weddings, and as well as decorations for special guests visiting the city such as Cher, and Queen Elizabeth II. Terry's love of shopping, eye for design, and interest in contemporary design ultimately comes together to create Carriage House's unique style. Terry is always willing to go the extra mile, and his personal involvment in the store really shines through.

Iris Bartholomew:

Iris Bartholomew is one of the highly experienced designers at Carriage House Florists. She has over 43 years experience and has a comprehensive understanding of design and the floral industry. She entered the floral industry shortly after graduating, and from there on in has taken multiple courses and has continually been expanding her knowledge and expertise. Iris is very creative and has expanded her design range by taking art and drawing lessons. In the past she has also participated in many industry design presentations and has been a key to their success. For over 10 years she ran her own candle making business, "Hands on Creations." Her candles were mainly sold at various trade shows, where she was highly successful. Her design style ranges from Classic, Traditional to High Style and Contemporary. She is a "jack of all trades" at the store and is involved in all aspects from Design, to Displays, to organization and the daily operations that take place to keep the store going. Iris has been with Carriage House since its opening twenty years ago. Her creativity, expertise, and hardworking nature make her an invaluable asset to the Carriage House Team.
