★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Une expérience à vivre plusieurs fois dans sa vie :-) Un séjour mémorable en famille dans un microchalet sur un lac privé (Chalet Thuya) où l'observation et la contemplation est à son meilleur. Le lac Edja est sublime: l'eau est limpide et le contraste entre le fond profond et la surface est impressionnante. On peut y voir nager directement les poissons. Le parcours d'hébertisme a gagné le coeur de mes enfants 5 et 8 ans. Rando, pêche, canot, planche à pagaie, observation de grenouilles et tortues, hébertisme et plongée en apnée et le bistro en fin de séjour: que de beaux souvenirs! L'accueil et le service y sont exceptionnels. Mille mercis à toute l'équipe! À très bientôt!
 An experience to live several times in your life :-) A memorable family stay in a microchalet on a private lake (Chalet Thuya) where observation and contemplation is at its best. Lake Edja is sublime: the water is crystal clear and the contrast between the deep bottom and the surface is impressive. You can see the fish swimming directly there. The hebertism course won the hearts of my children 5 and 8 years old. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding, observation of frogs and turtles, hebertism and snorkeling and the bistro at the end of your stay: what great memories! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great addition to the Veloroute des Draveurs and the town of Gracefield. Super helpful for regional activities, delicious snacks at the cafe. We will be renting their kayaks and drop off services for the Picanoc River - looking forward to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a fantastic day with Carpe Diem. Had a large group and they rented us bikes in the morning and we rode the Veloroute des Draveurs. We had lunch and then 21 of us went down the Picanoc River on a mix of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carpe Diem outfitted our group for a day of cycling on the Veloroute des Draveurs and kayaking/canoeing on the Picanoc River. I rented a bike - it was great quality and like-new condition. The staff were friendly and quick to get everyone ready, adjusting seats and getting bikes out that fit everyone renting. After biking we had lunch there, sandwiches and drinks, then were shuttled upstream to kayak/canoe down the river. Everything was ready for us at the put-in site, and at the end they were there to help us out and transport us back to the shop. The owners/staff are professional, knowledgeable and attentive, looking after all the details so we could enjoy the day. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the BEST place to book a camping/mini-lodge weekend!
I went twice, once in a mini lodge and once in a tentsile (like a suspended tent in the trees). We really enjoyed taking the canoe out onto the lake early morning with fog over the water. You can also hike around the forest, and spot wildlife.
