★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are in a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on Medhurst Dr. It is very roomy with ensuite laundry room, A/C with a ensuite furnace. They check the smoke alarms monthly. Matinence is efficient.
Secure doors and Video survalence is a big plus. We have no criticisms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Full disclosure I‘ve never rented from Carling Realty, I dodged a bullet there! I viewed 2 units at 100 Medhurst but due to poor lighting and a messy tenant I wasn‘t sure about taking it. I asked to view again after the tenant left, but was told I had to fill out an application and give a deposit. I said no, I didnt want to lose my deposit. I was told I‘d get my full deposit back if I changed my mind, only after I sign a lease will they hold anything back! I turned the units down because the unit was REALLY BAD, there was no way they could do the repairs satisfactorily in the time they had, and the weekend super was abusive, even yelling at me! Guess what, I didn‘t get my deposit back, even though the receptionist admitted she was wrong to say otherwise! In the end no satisfaction at all! And to make it even worse, I was desperately looking for something as I had been displaced by a fire at my previous home! They didn't seem to have any problem of taking advantage of me though! Shameful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were tenants with Carling Realty for 14 years. We gave our notice of termination of lease 56 days instead of 60 in advance at the beginning of November but were still held us accountable for November, December an January rent despite the fact that the unit needed to be modernized which would take over a month. They took us to small claims court over this. They changed double the cleanup fee agreed to in the lease as a result of there being a large freezer left behind. The large freezer had been there when we moved in and never worked. When we asked for them to remove it they said it was not possible. I would not recommend this company for this and many other reasons.
