I started seeing Dr T in 2009. At first, she was absolutely fantastic and I was thrilled with her. The office staff have always been rude and getting through was always a nightmare but it was what it was. Over the past few years, her focus seems to have become more focused on her laser skin services and I know my levels of care dropped drastically. In 2012, she put me on anxiety medication. I immediately began gaining weight quickly and, when I mentioned this, she arched her eyebrow at me and said that it must be lifestyle caused because that medication only caused weight loss. I began to hit the gym hard and I downloaded calorie counting apps. I was still putting on five to ten pounds each month. I was getting married and I had to pay to have my custom tailored dress altered. I gained a total of sixty pounds. I also found out that a lot of people gain weight on this medication. I asked her again and she said again that it was probably poor eating and lack of exercise. So I began to taper my dose until I was off of it. Since I’d done it myself, I’d gone too quickly and I was in pretty rough shape for a solid month. When I asked for help with losing those sixty pounds, she told me to just join Weight Watchers. I was cut badly during a pelvic exam. I’d said that it hurt, was told that I was fine, and sat up to see blood all over the table. I had an irregular test and was referred to a specialist. I waited six months for a call and finally called to ask for an update. The receptionist actually got angry and told me to stop bothering them; that this specialist was very hard to get in to and they were working on it. It took a year. When I saw the specialist, I was told that appointments take about two weeks to book. A year is absurd. One day, I was the last appointment of the day. I came in a few minutes early and the receptionist waved and told me to have a seat. I waited an hour and a half and the office was closed before they remembered that I was there and still waiting. I hadn’t said anything because there were still people coming and going and I was used to long waits. I finally asked how much longer things would be and was chastised for not having asked sooner because they didn’t realize that I was there for an appointment. Even after they’d greeted me by name. I’m sure that Dr T is great when it comes to skin care and she’s made it pretty clear that she doesn’t care about anything else.

Good family medical centre. Dr. Kiani has been our physician for about one year now and we always feel well cared for, respected and important when we go and see her. The receptionist staff are friendly and organized, but difficult to reach as they are always too busy. They just launched online booking for appointments which should make things much smoother.

Avoid this Dr office! I love my Dr but the office is absolutely terrible. My Dr is on maternity leave right now and instead of having a replacement Dr for her patients, they're making her patients use the walk-in clinic to see a Dr. They only have it a couple times a week (for 2 hours) so you're screwed if you work, which I do. It's also not guaranteed that you'll get in to the walk-in clinic so if you've taken time off work to go, you might not get in. All I need is a 2 minute appointment for a prescription fill and I can't even do that. My Dr is now moving offices and I can't wait to be done with these guys!! Just like the other reviews say, getting through to the office on the phone is impossible. It'll ring until you decide to hang up and it won't go to voicemail. If you're lucky enough to get the voicemail, it will say they're on a lunch break or that you've called out of business hours (even if you haven't) and they'll never return your call. Please don't waste your time! Do not go there!

I think Dr Kiani is a very good physician. Whatever one thinks of the clinic support staff has no relation to how good the doctor is in my opinion. Personally I do not have any bad experience with the support staff. I have to say that staff at her previous location seemed exceptionally caring and at the current location they appear busy.

I have been seeing Dr. Toutounchian as my family physician since I immigrated to Canada years ago. She is a dedicated and definitely knowledgeable family doctor with a higher level and capacity to care about her patients and their health and treatment needs. Whenever I decide to see her, I have the full confidence of receiving the best and most proper advise promptly with any necessary follow-up by my physician.

Apparently she's not my doctor anymore because I don't go frequently enough, which is a fun thing to hear when you're scared. "That's just how it is". The office staff is so rude.

Avoid choosing this clinic and doctor as your family doctor… During the past 5 years of having Dr. Kiani as my family doctor I did not receive one follow up from her office & whenever I try to reach out to them, she’s either on maternity leave or she does not have any available appointments. Additionally I have never received a call back even when I requested one. Never have I ever been contacted by the office for even a regular checkup nor when the hospital notified them during my visits, in the past 5 years… I have been trying to change my family doctor since last year but was not successful so I would appreciate if anyone would refer me to their family doctor when reading this review.

I have been her patient for almost 3 years. She is an amazing person, really caring and does listen to you and your concerns. She is not in any rush just to see you and get rid of you (like most of GP unfortunately). I would definitely recommend her. Her staff are amazing and always trying to help you and especially if you are in a rush and in urgent need, they will find you a spot and squeeze you in. Thanks a lot for being here for us.
