About Captured in Amber Photography

I am a Calgary wedding, family and portrait photographer focused on capturing real moments and connection. Candid, authentic, warm and emotional are words I would use to describe my artistic style. I chase beautiful light and embrace shadows. My aim is for you to look back on your images and remember the way you felt when we took them. Art should evoke feeling. I want you to have fun, laugh and cry while we document your life, even the messy parts.

I am moved by the simple and beautiful things in life. Details are so important to me. The moment when two people become one, welcoming new life into your family, the magic of being a parent for the first time, and the beautiful chaos that is raising two children while you try and fit in time to love each other.
