★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hey Victoria I just wanted to inform y'all that if you were thinking of hiring Cap's Cleaners to do any sort of work around your house I would strongly advise against it. They do a very poor job and do not regard the safety of their employees at all. If they show up on the scheduled day that is a surprise and then leave well before the work is finished. The company as a whole has a very poor work ethic and usually are not qualified to do the work they are contracted to do. Find another local business to support. Also have a wonderful day in the best city in the country

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company changed ownership sometime around late 2018. The company was recommended to us by our property mgmt company, not knowing about the change in ownership. The new owner Keith charged for work that was not done. Gave the runaround for a long time and eventually stopped answering phones altogether. We are out about 2k for work he 'guaranteed he did himself' (it isn't done). Was actually shocked by the proprietor's unprofessional behavior.
Just noticed this as well, check out the 5 star review below from "Keith Shea"... That is the owner of the company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly, we chose this firm to do some window and gutter cleaning. If using a squeegee and cleaning out a rain gutter can be considered a "trade", these are the WORST tradesmen imaginable. They left a mess from what they removed from the gutter, they damaged shingles and hose attachments, bent gutters, and when I contacted the new owner of the company -- who had also been one of the "tradesmen" on the job -- he denied that they had ever done any damage. (I guess I was lying....) It took 2 men less than 2 hours to do the job, for which they charged $357 with tax. Don't be fooled by past performance of Cap's Cleaners under different management/ownership. I was, and I was willing to pay more than journeyman carpenter wages to insure quality work. The new owner is absolutely the worst, with no attempt to fix problems he creates. If he has proper ladders, as their website claims, he did not use them. How interesting that Keith Shea posted a 5 star review of this business immediately after botching the work he did for me, and "Keith Shea" is listed as "owner" on the BBB site for this business. Hmmmm.... The Victoria BBB has been made aware of Shea's deceptive practices re: reviews and his refusal to address problems, but they won't change the A+ rating due to "procedural" matters. Guess we can figure who the BBB works for! Wish I'd never listened to the A+ rating in the first place. Hope others don't.
